Because song twist.... implement Harp and I bet you see a whole lot more people playing Bard. Change weapon, play song.. change weapon play song.. for hours straight is so much fun you know... Oh.. and did I mention change weapon cancels spell cast like trying to Mezz on incoming? Hibs aren't fortunate enough for their CC class to only have to worry about CC like other realms. Not only do they have to drive, they have constantly keep Sped and Endurance up to compete with speed 6 of Mid and Alb who don't have to twist anything.... just focus on mezz.

So you are saying americans are just lazy and refuse to play bard? Since there's plenty of EU bards atleast.

I actually agree with this. This is 90% of why I don't play a bard personally. I really enjoy everything about the class except the twisting (like there isn't enough for a bard to do).

Also, people need to be nice to our active NA bards! Unless they are pro bards with lotsa experience, they tend get blamed and yelled at when tension is high in and after combat. Just saying - patience and FRIENDLY advice goes a long way to helping bards wanna keep people logging in.

This week I am traveling for work, so my play time is very irregular. Most days I log in my bard, ask for a group, wait 5 min, then log in my chanter to xp -- up to 45 now, or do a sweep of Caledonia to confirm no one is there with my ranger. I occasionally get invites, and have grouped with you a few times. But usually it's back to leveling alts. I don't have the patience to wait 20-30 min for a group to have a spot open up. If I am solo when I see the call for a bard I will switch back usually, but I won't abandon an Xp group once I'm in it.

I would love to have a regular group to run with, but with a very pregnant wife at home I can't commit to daily play. Feel free to message me on Alyssandra, Loretta, Meghan or(rarely) Jaerun when you need a bard.

Regarding the rest, I don't drive if I am twisting. That is just begging to get mezzed. The harp was nice but really doesn't make too big of a difference. I find the twisting rhythm easier with 4 keystrokes than with 2. I had to count with the harp but it feels more natural now with two instruments

Weird coincidence how many 50 bards rolled an enchanter as an alt.

It's almost as if after begging for groups for 50 levels they wanted to level an alt that is the best solo hib class, and is sought after by most groups...

The irony of course being that enchanter as caster MA in a pull group (i.e. quarterback) requires even more experience, skill, and game knowledge than even bard...

I wont play my bard because of twisting. lvl 50 bard too. missing like 2 items. Anyways, put me in a 2 bard group and I'd play 7 days a week. I play to enjoy the game, not to macro twist, and not to manually twist for everyone elses amusement because they think speed 6 is neccessary 24/7, then you have the ****** who can't stick up, and wander into every shiny object known to man...****** twisting for everyones amusement. You can't even stick and keep sprint up why the hell should I twist?

Thats why I don't bard

You sound like a real delight.

All 3 realms lack players during NA hours, feel lucky you are only missing bards I assure you the scene is much worse on Mid.

The struggle is real. I can have fun without the perfect/full group setup but a Bard is the most essential piece, I don't even care about twisting. I'm fine without perma-sprinting. Just no one on in NA hours when I play it seems.

I would roll one myself but unless they adjust exp I am not going to. I would rather roam solo with my only 50 then go through that grind again at the current exp rate.
