Hi Folks

as many of you remember we tried a Dragon raid last saturday. We wiped at 30% but it worked pretty good sofar. So i would like another raid upcoming saturday (20.09). All players with lvl 45 or higher are welcome. Try to get many people to innis at 18:00. We will also need many druids so plz join with some druids if we dont have enough or tell some druids about this raid. The drops will be rolled per /roll 100; no leaderdrops or Point system. Everyone can win anything he wants...unless he hasent rolled succesfully before (as most of you know).

I strongly recommend you this time to prepare well for the raid and try to get to know how dragon works. Ill explain some things here in tread and some others then on saturday. I dont mind who is leader...if you like I can do it.

Tactics:

First and most important thing (the thing that let us wipe last time...plz be sure you know well about this point):

The Dragon will fight in Melee against our maintank (if aggro works well ;) ) but he will also attack our raid with very strong DD spells / AEDD /PBAE. Whenever dragon intends to start such an attack you´ll read a message in chat window...something like "cuuldurach stares at xxx" or "cuudurach starts a deadly attack on xxx". In that cases the player xxx has to run away from dragon...somewhere without other players around to avoid being killed or cause other players to be killed by aedd. If you die alone its not that worse (sounds hard but its better then letting whole raid die). Sometimes Cuudurachs starts a strong PBAEDD...a message like "Cuudurach takes a deep breath" or something similar will appear. ALL except the maintank will run away from dragon and return to dragon when DD has been fired.

Most important thing is that you watch the chat while raiding...even when you are attacking dragon...have an eye on chat and bg chat. Else the whole raid might end too early. More details and questions on saturday then.

Second thing:

On last raid the player distribution was just too chaotic...it wasnt our death but a better distribution could improve our raid. For this Jonty once postet a quite useful map for the raid:

With this it will be more easy to see where you can run when you got stare message cause there are not players everywhere ;)

More details and questions on saturday. Ill explain everything again while we move to dragon hort. I hope you´ll all join and try your best to kill that stupid bastard mob that sleeped too long safely in sheeroe hills^^

Kind regards
Holz
