Welcome to Hibernia Kageyoshi,

Hibernia is the realm with lowest population of all three realms and start might be a bit hard like in the other 2 realms too for new beginners because there are not so many low level groups out.

Maybe try to find a group in the XP Bog of Cullen Zerg supported by some friendly 50 animists https://www.uthgard.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=62&t=45094 and get yourself into the game with doing level 20 killtasks at the beginning.
As mentioned it ´s a bit rough at the beginning but should get better, when you getting higher in level, so don ´t give up.
When you level try to get to mag mell as soon as possible, you getting often buffed there and sometimes money by nice ppl.

Of course you should look for a nice guild too but maybe it ´s better too wait and see which guilds fit four you. There are many good guilds around but can ´t tell which are recruiting or not.
If you ´re playing in the US time zone, you should look for guilds with many US players as there is not much action in the US time window,-sadly. EU prime time the server is healthy around 1200 players and slightly growing.

Your class choice might be important for you too, note that most groups are about petpulling, so manament, manaenchanter or support classes like bard /druid are good choices for the beginning. Warden is good to asyou can solo or play in tank grps and sometimes petpull groups too.
Make your choice wisely and don ´t create chars you don ´t want to play to level 50 or afterwards as leveling isn ´t that easy here.

Money is getting an issue later when you ´ve to temp your chars, so creating a leg. tailor for example with 1000+ in sublines might be good to earn money later as you can salvage drops.
Also note that not that crafters are restricted to classes here, so not every class can become any crafter.

Hope this helps you a bit to get started. Good luck. 8)
