When leveling up, would it be practical to go full nurture for buffs? What about 50 nurture at end-game RvR? Put the rest into Nature at end game RvR? Thoughts?

About the only reason to spec so high in Nurture is to utilize the "Focus Shell" spell. I hope this thread helps answer your questions.

when leveling up, the most important thing is to keep your group alive. Having said that, it is all too tempting to spec high nurture to "buff" your group to its highest potential.

You need to exercise control over that temptation and remember that if your heals aren't up to par, you won't keep a group alive.

Keep regrowth at your level or as close to your level as possible while levling. This will grant you access to the instant heals that you will need if your group hits a jam or tough spot. They are PRICELESS!!

Keep nurture close behind, but definately not at the expense of regrowth.

The best all around druid spec is 40 nurture, 30 regrowth, 20 nature. Reason being you get decent buffs, shears, heals, instants, spreadheal and a nifty pet that can stun / pain in the ass to kill in RvR.

I totally disagree with that. You can keep your buffs way higher that your heal spec. Talking about priceless instants made me giggle, wasted potential for something you might need and thats only up every 15 minutes is no argument at all.

Hib has a lot of heals in most grps anyways.. Even MID healers Level with Aug/Pac splitspec and low heals...

Oh and why 30 reg at 50? Makes sense ;)

agree'd. Best to level up heavily into nurture, 12 regrowth can keep your heals good enough until the late 20's. 12 regrowth, then spec nurture to blue specs, then a little more regrowth and then go for yellow str/con and d/q then more points into regrowth.

and "best" druid spec all depends on how you play. If you have a good grp members and use voice chat focus shield can be insanely powerful.

As a druid that is spec'd 20 nurture the pet is helpful in certain situations but in reality one CC spell and the pet is useless for the entire fight.

yup because 10 more attribute points are more important than a group save.

and 20 nature gives you a stun pet.. that's why.

again, saving your group in a pinch is much less important than 10 attribute points. totally agree.

focus shield? that's news to me... wow. i will definitely look into this.

you mean 20 nature. and no, it isn't useless if you recast and most battles last much longer than the cc on the pet. watch and learn:

As a drood you should level up with all/most of your points specced in buffs.. Your buffs will help your grp MUCH more than your crappy instant each 15minutes or your bigger heals which costs too much mana especially in the low level regions.

btw as a cleric and as a healer its the same... put your spec points in enhancement or pac/aug and use the base line heals..they are enough for pve most of the time :)

Well apparently other people on these boards don't mind group wipes as much as I do. Pick whichever you prefer but don't say I didn't warn you.
