Are the limitations on Critshot the same as they were on live? Target can't be running or in combat?

I've had several Critshots on targets who were casting buffs (i.e. standing still and not in combat) hit for <300 damage using a 99 Duskwood Heavy Recurve Bow. The log didn't show any damage mitigation such as an ablative buff. I always use appropriate arrows versus each armor type, etc. What gives?

Yeah, I recognized on standing targets non crit shots that should have been crits in any case. Seems to me like a recent change hum

restrictions are:

NO combat
NO running
NO sprinting

allowed is:

casting (for casting you must stay still)
healing (=casting)
walking forward
walking backward
jump

so if you´ve done low damage i guess you used wrong arrowtype for that target you shot at...
or
you´ve aborted the critshot to a normal shot by accident..

Okay. Assuming I used the correct arrow type (I always do, and the resistances didn't show any outstanding numbers) it seems I may be cancelling my Critshots inadvertantly. This used to be possible by clicking the Critshot "button" once AFTER you've begun your Critshot sequence... and you would receive a message similar to "You cancel your Critshot and begin a regular shot" or something like it. Is that still the same?
