Is the Damage increasing with higher skills? My lvl 19 Hunterpet at lvl 25 do 4-5 dmg to yellow con. Its not really worth to summon one ;D

I posted a problem before but no one replied. The pets should work based on hunter level but they are based on beastcraft skill. So if your beastcraft is 1 and you cast the level 1 pet and you are lvl 50 then the pet will be lvl 7. That is the number max that you can animal/plant charm at lvl 1 beastcraft. Seems like there is a number in the wrong spot or something. According to all the documentation before 1.8 then that pet would be 80% of the hunters level or 40 if the hunter is 50th level and using skill 1 of beastcraft.

Basicly its broken to live standards but seems to be right in terms of what seems logical. If you want a strong pet then you must put into beastcraft. The pets are still all the same but he will go up in level as if you were using charm in terms for max level.

I know this.. in my opinion its lifelike (else the different summonspells would make no sense). Thats ok.. i skilled beastcraft and have a pet that cons blue to me.. but i wanna know, why the damage is not increasing. The pet is doing for more than 10 levels the same dmg to yellow con Mobs. And if its doing on petlvl 42 also 4-5 dmg to yellow mobs, i'll forget this specline :)

Hunter is definately sad on this server. Pets are pretty much worthless, only good as an occasional interrupt vs a caster.
You pretty much have to go at least 25 BC to get the speed get away spell and the dex/quick buff.

If your looking to play an archer class on this server Ranger is definately superior. There is something wierd with bow damage on this server especially vs cloth casters. I did way more damage on live and I'm talking pre TOA like this server is emulating.

There's a reason you do not see many hunters being played at 50 on this server.

Make a hunter with max spear and Mos 5 and see how you do in Agramon. Alot of groups will take you along to sniff out stealthers. I know I despise them.

Wow.. Meelehunter as MoS-Pet
that sounds really exciting.. I think that is exactly the duty this class is designed for Oo

I have to agree with swift. Bowdamage IS broken and with the no-crit-critshot-bugfix it sucks even more. And the Pet, which is an important damageadd and is included in calculation of dmgoutput deals no damage, too.
