Hi all,
after several invitations from various guilds I have joined up with the Stormhammer guild.

At first i didnt want to join a guild before I dont know what it is about (Rights & Duties, and so on). But when asked by a Stormhammer fellow I thought to myself, try it out to learn about this guild in peticular and about guilds in general.

After some days know I have to say that I have still no picture i can paint out. I dont even know whos the guild-boss, or jarl or whatever he (or maybe she ) is called.

Then i tried to find any information concerning the Stormhammer guild in the Uthgard-Forum, but when i use the search function, there is not one single thread where it appears (glad that im actually in this guild, else one could believe it doesnt exist *irony* ).
There is also no website of this guild, at least i didnt find one.

Maybe i had false presumptions about DAoC-guilds in general, comparing these guilds with clans of other internet and/or LAN-games.

There are (according to the Uthgard Herald) 196 members, and
I also happened to meet several of them ingame, but none of them could tell me whos the leader or some other useful piece of information about this guild.

If by chance any highranking member, leader or other member who has informations about the Stormhammer-guild reads this thread, i would gladly read all information he can spare with as answers to this thread.

some things i would like to know (for example):
- Whos the leader and what are his duties?
- Is there a special purpose the guild was founded for respectivaly strives for?
- What is expected of its members?
- Are there any animosities and/or alliances with other guilds?
- Is there a background-story or fictive persons of significanr meaning to the guild and its role and behaviour in Midgard?
- Anything that is not covered by the questions above, that has to do with the Stormhammer guild.

I hope that there will be plenty of answers, so that I can play my role in this guild to the fullest.

ah,...forgot an important question.

Since you obviously don`t talk about guild-relating stuff on the Forum, is there a board, or chat chat or somezhing in similar, that you use to discuss guild-strategies, tasks, special events or other Things like that?
Is there maybe a TS-server or so which is used by the core of Stormhammer members?
You can`t seriously talk/write about all guild stuff ingame?!
There is likely to be a core of players who have at least contact over ICQ to each other, no?

I don`t want to upset my newly guildmates, but likewise I don`t want to be part of a passive association, just for finding lvl-grps a little easier and exchanging some magical items one finds, cause this i had and dideven before i joined the guild.

Again, I really don`t want to upset people, since i met really nice people belonging to the Stormhammer guild, so don`t take this as offence but rather as constructive critic.

So I don't know much about this guild but still I think I saw some active members.
But in the end I think they don't have 196 members. See every charakter is counted, so If someone has about 10 twinks it's 10 Members in the herald.

So no one online ingame you could ask about the guild?

Of course, as i said, I met some members ingame. But those I had asked about the guild didn`t had much knowledge either, even the one who invited me.

And to not ask every single meber I encounter respectively see on guild screen, i had decided to open this thread, for it is a much better platform to inform and discuss this matter.

Wow, thats not quite much information.

Never met this Conkosxs guy also. Think I will stay with the guild for about a week or so, looking how it develops, and then I`ll decide if i stay in it or leave.

Actually I`m in search of a guild, whose members try to train each other and where they learn tactics for RvR, and stuff like this.
Would be nice if there was an interesting Background too, and usage of Teamspeak would be defintely a plus.

Maybe it would be better anyways to join a german guild, since this is my native language, so it would be easier to make strategies and such.

I find it somewhat sad, that not one single member of the Stormhammer guild wrote a reply to this thread, and I wonder why?!

Maybe its because they get new members anyway, cause players get faster to higher levels, items and ppl to grp with?

In my opinion at least the leaders/founders of the guild should show a bit more interest in new members, other than just that they joined!

At least I do hope, that out of some weird coincidence, no knowing Stormhammer read this thread, thats why I`ve decided to stay one wekk more.

As a known fact , we have by Nomad Jarl some chars/twink named as this :

Conkos ( healer ) , Toonyxs (shadow-blade )-( for those i know )

lol never noticed the similarity of the names

As a former member of Stormhammer.
I can tell you the guild leader's name starts with Black.
He/she has a few alts they all start with Black.
I was in the guild close to the start.
Thats about all I can say about the guild here.
