Hey guys,
Im still not sure if i should join Alb or Mid and i dont know much about mids Classic PVE.

Maybe you can tell me which are mids solo PvE farm Chars and where do they farm?

I guess its the same with salvage Drops like in the other realms?

I would say Spiritmaster for solo Farming and aug shaman for melee duo Farming in epic zone and DF?

Thanks for the helo

Spiritmaster is OK for solo farming but most would pick a bonedancer. Raumarik is a good farming zone as is Malmo and DF.
Aug Shaman is a good choice for a duo.

Spiritmaster is good if you can duo with a healer. For solo farming bonedancer and cave shaman are best.

Spindelhalla (in Myrkwood) has some good salvageable drops but most will farm DF or Raumarik or Malmo.

Watched plenty of cave shams in Varulv dungeon, AOE dot farming, or I assume that is what they were doing

The WW lord room by the looks of things.

Dont know whats possible in mid but this reminds me of my Ani.
Whats is your spec for the SM?

And thank you all very much for the farm Spots.

Now i have to decide between bd and SM as solo Farming. My main will be a shaman.

To be honest, If I had the chance I would change my 50bd for a 50 sm ;-).

SM is better for farming mobs below level 50 with focuspulls,- more kills for less mana.
BD is better against 50+ mobs, single mobs and named mobs, but in my opinion it´s better to kill many mobs for better drop rates and salvage I suppose, even if mobs and their salvage loot is lower.
Especially when you ´ve problems finding customers for your drops in housing, many ppl are done with templating.

That being said,- both chars are well for farming, but with this setting BD ain ´t that strong in solo pve but you re doing it better then a SM in rvr.

It really depends on playstyle and what you want to farm/do with your char, both classes are good choices.

common places to farm are malmo, spindelhalla and raumarik.

Spec is 49 Supp, 22 Summ.
With this Spec i can do 1 red/light purple Mob or like 5-7 green/blue Mobs at once.

On mid the price of icebound bracers are now 6p last I looked, these were easier to get before the "fix". I'm for fixing obvious problems but sometimes you create more issues than you solve.

If you want to solo farm, I'd personally choose a Cave shaman. With 46 cave you get the biggest AoE DoT, which will allow you to clear entire camps of yellow/oj mobs within minutes. It's the best answer Mid has to Necros and Animists.

As A Cave shaman, you'll also be great for keep and relic defense, but that doesn't happen too often. It's hell of a lot of fun when it does though.

Or you could go the hybrid Cave/aug spec of 38 Aug, 37 Cave, 9 mend. That will get you enough cave to clear packs of yellow mobs fast and also be viable in RvR with yellow buffs. Groups prefer at least some red buffs, like red endo, but they'll take yellow. Everyone should have LW1.

For farming locations, I go to two places generally speaking. Spind in Myrkwood Forest, either killing the entry mobs called Thralls, as they drop asterite gear. Or go deeper into Spind and farm the Cave Throws, since they drop some decent studded, weaps and occasionally chain for bigger asterite yields (got 2 vests yesterday that salvaged for like 30-40 asterite each).

If you do go the full cave route, you'll be able to clear bulks of Hagbui Berserkers and Thanes in Vanern Swamp, which is generally the best spot to farm salvage if you can do it fast enough. Drops rates are lower here than Spind, but yields are higher due to the high level studded and weaps and chain that drop.

Those are the two main places within the safe zones of Midgard I'd bother going to.

Darkness Falls is great for seals obviously, and if you can get over to the Hib side and kill the emerald boss there, it's decent along with the tempters. They drop emeralds and sapps. I did that for several hours and it yielded like 3 plat worth of seals. Not the best place though.

There's also Dodens if you can be safe, but don't count on it. Snow Vendos are great for the Etched Ice Bracers, but everyone knows that spot and you'll get an INC usually within an hour of farming. So not safe at all to farm in peace.
