/who savage = 32
/who berserker = 75
/who thane = 27

Are Savages really that much worse off than Berserkers and only slightly better than Thanes?

Yea people repeat that wish it was actually true. They are a bit harder due to a bunch more buttons and annoying buffs to keep up, but not even enough to justify half the presence of berz.

Savages are good, berz are just more effective. Now if savages counted as dual wielding we would probably see the opposite numbers.

You're talking about defense penetration? You generally don't attack a tank anyway, especially not from the front.

Attacking guarded target would be problem while h2h is classified as 1 handed not dual weild.

most likely this. a set 8 man that runs together every day would probably pick one each, 1 zerk 1 savage. but for your average pug picking zerks is probably the easiest way

Some savages maybe. Real ones go two handed and need no luck to deal more than zerkers.

Getting nerfed doesnt mean you're not viable anymore. Test then come back to post something useful.

tested it in beta, it's not viable and definetly not even close to zerker damage, which was your point.

The only reason why 2H Savage was a thing way back then, was because the class was fundamentally broken. The tri- and quad-hits were assigned to the class itself, and not styles, which meant that you could get tri and quad-hits using any type of weapon, even two-handed.

So are Savages useful in 8mans in this patch or are they at a bad point in 1.65?
