Hello there!

Thank you for showing an interest in joining our guild <Njord>.

We are currently recruiting players of all levels and classes to join us for RvR action! Currently, the guild is in full PvE mode to prepare for the onslaught ahead and as such, now is the perfect time to join!

Who we are:

We are a guild with members from all walks of life (and all timezones too), but all with a passion for Dark Age of Camelot and Old Frontiers in particular. Most of us are at a stage in our lives where we have many outside commitments and as such, treat DAoC as valuable freetime entertainment. Our goal is to experience everything RvR has to offer, from set groups (8man) over keep defenses, to relic raids.

What we can offer:

1. Functional guildhouse with bindstone, porters and CM
2. Our very own discord server
3. A guild with knowledgable players, who have experience with this patch level.
4. Friendly guildies, with lots of banter
5. An active alliance chat
6. A mere 2% Guild Tax (to help fund the house)
7. The realms first 50 shadowblade
8. We also have a Berm

What we are looking for:

1. A mature and decently behaved person, preferably over the age of 18
2. A person with a sense of loyalty, who is looking for place to call home
3. A person who likes to have a good time, with likeminded individuals
4. A person who isn't affraid to help out a guildie, if need be
5. A person who leaves the drama at the door

If you think like you would fit right in with us at <Njord> feel free to send any member a tell and they will direct you towards the nearest officer / invitational capacity.

Should you have further questions, please do not hesitate to send a tell to: Freudinia (or Calamity), Guf (or Freja) or Daddy (or Bronamath) or Berm.

Thank you for reading!

I do not meet any of the criteria in Section 2, #1-#5. Can you tell me more about this "Berm" you offer? Does it log out ever? Will it do my laundry? What are its input requirements?

The Berm will do as you command, for a fee.

Somewhat interested.. on behalf of all other interested applicants I have a few questions.

A lot of us lower level players are afraid of leaving the starter guild to join a guild. We are worried we will have a hard time getting groups with people our level, as the starter guild is often a great secondary source of groups alongside the "set LFG" tool.

I have a lvl 16 warrior and 11 spiritmaster. Do you have many players leveling in their teens? Or mains who have alts that are considering leveling their teen characters? I'm wondering if maybe joining at these levels might be something I would regret as you are unable to rejoin the starter guilds.

Thanks for addressing my question and good luck to you!

Hey there. Thank you for your interest in joining Njord.

I can definitely understand your worries, as the starter guilds can be a great resource to finding groups. That said, I have always found the LFG system and keeping in touch with good people I've grouped with, to be the best way to find groups.

We do have some people in your levelrange, but I believe most have leveled past their teens and into the twenties by now, but I know our alliance was as late as tonight looking for people from the ranges 14-16.

If you have any other questions, do not hesitate to ask. :)

Played with one of you yesterday ... Me as a shammie (Moemeth), he as a hunter. Had great fun and we got lots of XP. Too bad for the jumper and bad Netflix connection ... :-)

Just wanted to let everyone know that recruitment for Njord is winding down a bit. We're still interested in adding a few key high levels for RVR who would fit in with our core. We're also accepting recruits who our current members play with and can vouch for. So if you're interested in joining Njord, still reach out to me and we can have a discussion, find you some guys to group with and whatnot.

Contact me on Daddy or Bronamath

See ya out there.
