You will find that most Mid players are pretty friendly.

Things to note - Uthgard is different from "true classic" and some extras are implemented and some things are still being worked on. I suggest thoroughly reading through the forums to get your bearings about you before simply diving in. It will answer A LOT of your questions - or atleast it did for me.

Low level guilds are pretty abundant. Alot of people come to Uth with some friends and form a small guild, recruit people for leveling and such and have fun. Most of the higher end RvR guilds aren't going to invite new players but that is no different from live or live "classic".

Money and gear are a pain to come by in the beginning. Sometimes it is best to know someone that can help you out. It makes the first 30ish levels go by so much faster. PM me in game @ Mrtanner and I will get you a few gold pieces to help get you on your feet and get you some beginning equips. I can't help much beyond that or everyone would be banging at my house for money, lol, but by the time you hit your 20's hopefully you will have made friends with some people that are willing to let you use or have some hand-me-down gear.

Enjoy your stay!

A hint if you look for answers is to use google with "site:uthgard.net" in front of your search terms.

Unfortunately our search function lacks a lot of googles power. With our vast amount of posts thats the best way to go.
It's done when it's done. Thanks for your patience.

There seems to be a lack of pac healer at the moment in the battlegrounds. Perhaps making a PAC healer would be the way to go.

And if you choose the way of an Aug Healer, remember that your class is still a healing class with single but USEFUL cc capabilities, since so many leveling augs seems to have forgotten that they shouldn't only worry about spamming celerity while reading books / watching Tv
