Recently I got my hands on a zerker, and I struggled for a while to set my controls just right. After some tinkering I found out, it is best to use external hardware, so if you can get your hands on this controller, it will offer you very high amount of control and easy access to all the important berserker skills. Here is a visual guide how to set it up:

Thanks for this guide. I'll need to get my hands on a SNES controller and try this out. :)

[3:10pm] <myrmidon^> that's what I learnt

The group that runs up against them can't kill them fast enough because smite clerics have sooooooo many tools at their disposal combined with decent ranged damage with 8 of them dudes doing it!

you all need to stop hating on zerkers!
any proficient split spec berseker uses 2 positional snares,3 part back chain,2 part evade chain, and 2-3 anytimes (hammer/axe/left axe).

that's in part true, but i still see many dummy zerkers that overextend a lot without purpose like austerim do! :D (But sadly zerk doesnt have the bugged rr5 to save his ass!)

I haven't played my Zerker in months and I don't think you've seen me play it. 8O These days though I see a lot of dummy Zerkers using bleeding styles on everything they hit making them unable to be CC'ed like Caemma here. Only time I really overextended on BM is if I had Charge up and went in to Slam support. :P You're free to make a bug report on BM RR5 with all the information for why it's bugged, etc. if you want. ;)
