I was wondering if there was a command or macro for turning your character 180 degrees. I know about /face but id like something to flip me back around so that I can kite people more effectively. Thanks

I don't think there is any in game command or macro to turn around 180 degrees instantly.
The easiest way to turn around almost instantly is to mouse turn quickly. It's easy with a little practice. ![]() |

In Duke Nukem 3D it was Backspace

Just an idea, set a ground target behind you and face the ground target. At work atm, so can't test if you really can do that

you could make macros with face locs but you would need to know where you are and your locs are X.x

Well if you really want to kite, just face the one that is chasing you
![]() I guess the whole point is to 180° deg. camera without slowing down movement. “DAOC is not about what you can log. It's about what you can play :> ”

Okay, just wanted to make sure. For some reason I thought there was a command for it, but I think that might have been WoW.Ive been using the mouse pan and it seems to be working, I appreciate the tip

No command in daoc. other than some creative use o face loc that would be a huge pain to do.
the standard way is to get really good at mouse turning. it actually doesnt even take all taht much practice to get to turning 180 degrees very quickly. and as a bonus, the mouseturn and camera pan speeds are both dictated by your mouse responsiveness, so they are effectively the same. so once you get good at turning 180 degrees, you can also quickly pan your camera 180 degrees while kiting. |
