Hi i'm Gramo a 5L2 Hunter my current spec is:

47 spear
36 bow
32 bc
35 stealth

i wanna try a new spec:

Full melee

50 spear
42 bc
35 stealth
18 bow

with melee ra

or

50 spear
45 bow
35 stealth
8 bc

with this spec i must use dex/qui charge and i loss more or less 30 armor factor, i think that the pet is useless because it dont half evade chance when i attack with it, and it do 15 20 demage if dont miss.

What do you think ?

bc are waste points ?

no pet is very useful imo you get rupt for casters or backup healers
and if you kite the pet will avoid restealth from infis for example
try the spear+beast spec i would say

Pet (and mob) damage on Uthgard is currently bugged, but they're working on it so it will be a better spec in the future. ;)

why every hunter calls pet senseless?

use the bug on uthgard...nearly NO mob is sorted to a race (insect, human, undead, ...) so you can charm ANYTHING and everywhere..

there are buffing pets out in the field,
there are healing pets out in the field,
there are casting pets out in the field(which are NOT affekted from lousy mob-damage).

these pets are more than worth it to charm them.
sure..you lose either melee or bow..but get a good ally with you.
go at least 35 BC (last charm) with it you can charm all up to 41 (which is the maximum of petlevel on 50).

i am 49 with my hunter and i have with 35 BC (last charm as i said) no problems to charm level 40 (actual my max because of the 82% rule).

some exsamples:
vanern swamps (homezone): level 36/37 hagbui shaman (heals, buffs, cast)..absolute worth to bring one to Mid-frontiers.
hadrians wall (alb zone): level 40 priestress (buffs, cast)
hadrians wall (alb zone): level 38-40 pictish druid (heals, casts)
Snowdonia (alb zone): level 33/34 arawanite shamaness (heals, buffs, cast)
myrkwood forrest (homezone): level 16 arachite priest (heals, buff, cast)
breifine (hib zone): level 38-43 empyrien elder (should heal, so far not implemented but will be)
jamtland mountains (mid zone): level 39 mob (forgot name), southwest part of map (single + AE-mezz)

I have the same problem (32 BC charm doesn't work).

I wonder if adding +BC to some junk items (shield and 1-hand sword for example) would help?
Luzifa: freak
Luzifa: delete your freak
Luzifa: seyha why you always coward?

Agree, Olin hunter 6L here, i can't do anything solo with melee, or you have maybe a chance with camou+ ip + purge up lol.

But bow spec is correct and falcon eye is cool for volley :)

Thanks Seyha :p
