There is something I really don't understand here. Why do people not invite to groups? I see the other realms run in groups alot or duos... very seldom do I find a solo alb or hib. Yet mid has soloers all over the place. I was in DF today and despite the fact I asked:

Anyone want to go Hib or Alb side in df?

/lfg sb/hunter duo or xp group (multiple times)

Then I watched a group of Shadowblades and Hunters (5 of them) just pass me up (2 or 3 times cuz they got aggro... i passed them... they passed me... they got aggro... etc)

Then after I passed them the last time I ran into a duo of hib stealther classes that just owned me. :)

So, I came back to DF and saw all the spam of that group killing enemies.

and btw I am lvl 47 and they had 46 and up. Are they just selfish? I am really looking for some serious answers... Is Hib and Alb the same way?

Any info appreciated

No, thats only a mid problem.

And thats totally the truth! :?

I'm sure this topic will get edited, or deleted or what ever- but like u maybe noticed hibs/albs making grps of 6+ stealthers. Most of the time mids ignore this and go to spend again, and again. Its the same for me, if i ask for grp/duo of stealthers i also dont get any answer.

Regards.

Yes it's the same on any realm. Joining a guild you think is good in your opinion is basically the only way you can prove your worth, meet people outside of your guild who rvr (alliance for example) after that you're good to go.

With stealthers is other side of the problem. 90% of mid stealthers (and im one of them) prefer run solo, and when we are get zerged we prefer log. But with rvr groups i cant understand this problem. All prefer play whith their friends or high rr people.

i prefer to play with experienced players
people who don't know how to assist at lvl 40+ make me angry the most do misttakes 3 times in a row for example being overextended and if i say what they did wrong they don't learn from it they still keep to make the same misttakes again and again and that is what i really HATE and that happens very very often on uth

you just happend to run into a few of those stealthers who don't like to grp

in hib a lot of stealthers dont mind grping - but a few of us do care and will always (and I mean always) decline a grp invite and ignore stealthers who /lfg

its just a matter of honor for some of us

anyways - no not all realms are like that and tbh mid aint either.. seen plenty of mid stealthers grp (or if not grp then hunt together)

there are lots of friendly ppl in every Realm .

That /lfg thing is a good idea, but in many cases ppl just dont see these messages.
sometimes the chat windows are already beeing spammed with guild, alliance, broad, group messages, so these /lfg's just dissapear in seconds.
or ppl are in ts and not even watching the chat.

often you see many ppl in the same location and the same lvl range spamming /lfg and non of them invites the other lol.

best chance to get an answer or even beeing invitet to grp is to just ask someone per /tell.

I'm usually open to anyone, however after playing on Uthgard for 2 years, I've stopped taking my chances with people I don't know. The chances are pretty high they are just worthless. Occasionally I group people I haven't grouped with before, but i'll keep in mind when to avoid grouping them again if they suck too hard. That's just their problem and I can't stand playing if it becomes my problem too because of that. I need to be able to rely on my groupmembers, that's what makes it fun imo.

I wouldn't want to go to war with a bunch of fools who run around like headless chickens either, sadly that's just the impression I get from realmmates from time to time.

Nope, it's called common sense, it's bothersome to waste time because of a few people just totally fail and keep failing over and over.

I totally agree m8,

After coming from Hib live as a NS stealth groups were very popular, I used to ask in broad any stealth groups need an NS and within 2 mins i had an invite to RVR stealth grp.

I started originally in alb on Uthgard with an inf, that was the same, in the BGs id get invites to grps, then at around 45 id try agramon and again id get invited to stealth grps.

I then decided to try mid on this server and im finding a large difference, in BGs i never get an invite, used to in brae but now im in thid invites dont happen. As for Agramon, im killed constantly by other realm stealth grps and when i shout LFG for rvr nothing not a single invite..

Seems its a mid thing m8, hence why ill prob reactivate my alb stealther again as 1 v a group of stealter and dieing all the time is pointless.

considered going somewhere else than where the grps hunt? ;) IE. mmg is usually a good spot when hibs / albs / mids like to run stealther grps

I can't stand how some people Expect to get a grp when all they do is /lfg class. If you really want a grp, do a little effort, talk to people personally or build your own. Do /who 30 35 for instance for brae, see who's there, talk to someone, maybe u need to send 2 or 3 people but u'll get an answer normally if they dont have a grp, ask if they want to, if they do, ask if you can join.

The easymode mentality of: "Oh I did /lfg but I don't get grps" is just retarded if you ask me, if you WANT a grp, put some EFFORT in it and u'll get groups 10 times more than when u just go /lfg. This is not a live server with 3k ppl, it's Uthgard with at most 20 people in ur lvl range in ur realm.

This is nothing personal, I see it happen in all realms. Just try it and u'll be finding / creating more grps than u thought.

I agree with this completly, I send 2 times a /lfg, for the rest i just /send to people to figure out if they want to group or to invite me.

I dunno what you mean m8. I started today, yesterday and the day before yesterday groups. I just ask some people if they wanna join. And then, these peeople bring another people into the group. That worked every time tho.

I just think you got bad luck at this moment. Thats all.

I am completley with Zarkos Post! Thats all i can say.
