If everything up high rr ns will be better than inf. In low rrs you are right!

(Ns has access to viper and avoid pain)

Viper every 30 min during 30 sec isn´t really big problem, avoid pain can give nice advantage.

1st option: Vanish
2nd option: snare and run
3rd option: ranger/hunter rr5 and run
4th option: hope that SB is a n00bz0r and just run
5th option: kill sb before SB kills you and run, because youll get 5 adds next 10 seconds!

Since you liked it:
6th option: Dont go Agra
7th option: Dont play DAoC
8th option: Play Midgard
9th option: Run 8vs8 only, so that you wouldnt get attacked by SBs
and last but not least
10th option: Actually, roll a nonstealth melee class with slashdmg-type and learn to play it. This way, the shadowblade will have to think about a way to survive against you for longer than 10 seconds.

On topic:
I prefere the speccing 50 sword/axe 50 CS 35 stealth 21 envenom(or something between these numbers).

The problem you encounter here is, that perf is somehow a fixed value of dmg you deal to your opponent. It doesnt matter if i hit with a 2,4 or 5.5 weapon, the dmg is roughly the same, therefore my favorite 1-shot-spec is actually useless on uthgard.

When you calculate PA damage with the dmg formula, the difference between 1h and 2h PA is rather big (~300 dmg)

But when you add in that you can't use 2 poisons at once perfing with a 2h (i.e no s/c debuff and dot at the same time), dmg absorb and resists, 2h PA with 50 CS does approx 550 damage.

I wanted a critblade setup too but once I calculated PA damage I lold and ditched it.

Could you help out with such a formula or a link or something like that?

* Perforate Artery Cap = 75 + Critical Strike Spec * 9 + Damage Cap
* Backstab II Cap = 45 + Critical Strike Spec * 6 + Damage Cap
* Backstab I Cap = ~5 + Critical Strike Spec * 14 / 3 + Damage Cap

Damage Cap = DPS * SPD * 3 * (1 + (SPD - 2) * .03)

I know this one, and i seriously doubt that this formula applies to uthgard.

Why?
I have an assassin, highlevel with 34 +13 cs spec. 99% weapons 3,9 3,3 3,1 2,4 weaponspeed on different weapons. Ive been hitting the doll several times with different weapons, and i came to the conclusion, that the dmg difference beween 3,9 & 2,4 mainhand weapons is roughly 20 dmg.

According to your damage cap calculator i should be hitting for 198 dmg with 3,9 weapon and for 117 with 2,4 weapon. 198-117=81 and not 20.

perf cap should be 507+198 or 117, and its actually close to the dmg my assassin deals, but the dmg difference between 2,4 & 3,9 is, practially absent on uthgard or at least my assassin

If uthgard would be using your formula, i wouldve gladly made a critblade a long time ago. 50cs 44 sword/axe for more envenom maybe, but mostlikely still 50 50 in the end. Lets calculate, for 50+15cs and 5,5 2handed weapon.

PA cap= 75+65*9+dmg
dmg = 16,5*5,5*3*(1+(5,5-2)*0,03)
PA cap= 75+585+301
PA cap= 961 dmg

Even if you remove resists, and are quite unlucky having a lowdmg-PA, your second hit will kill any caster for sure. Most hybrid/stealther opponents wont be able to recover so much dmg aswell, and as for poisons, a critblade actually doesnt need anything besides desease to half heals on his/her target, since they twoshot all regular targets anyway. You save viper3-points, which you put directly into mopain, and this way, you actually have a chance to oneshot most your opponents.

But as i stated before, somehow, i have a strong feeling, that this does not apply on uthgard.

Rolf :D

I really thing you will have better chances to win, by stay and fight..

I really love CS Spec, are u sure it unplayable un uthgard ?

When i look on calculator, Gorrot and AH got better GR than Double frost, so i thing with 44 Cs and 39 La the damage can be pretty nice.

Using cs styles only and LA evade stun..

So what do you thinks about thoses specs :)

44 cs // 39 La/ 34//weapon/ 34 stealth/ 26 dot
or
44La //34 cs/34 dot/34 stealth/34 weapon ?

Do the Third CS style after evade "rib separation" debuff the target on Uthgard?

I m looking for this spec ,but i never played a stealther without the last dot debuff 47..Is the 37 one great enought ?

I think on going on the first spec..just hope that the game is playable with just ~ 40 dot..

If someone perform great here with low venom ? :)..

ANd what the others think about low venom ?

Thanks for all your usefull advicies :)

I am not sure, but I think that Hjodr (hello Pirith? Around somewhere?) played (is playing? will play again?) nearly without poisons.

He might have changed that, but I doubt it.

961 - armor absorb - melee resists.

Yeah you end up at ~600 damage, or less with a critblade. Everyone perfs with 1h for 400-450 depending on spec, use the "classic" CD specs and 1h weapons in this forumula and you'll find out that it's correct. Critblades do suck here :P

WHen you say Critblade suck here , what do you mean ?

- That between 21 cs and 50 cs the difference of damage is not as great as it should?

-Or that all the Cs line is weak ?

Garrot //TA should do still great job no ?

And Cs evade combo should be good to ?

With enought LA Of course , like 39+ bonus ..

There's not much difference between PAing with 39 CS and 1h weapon and PAing with 50 CS and 2handed weapon.

Garrote is the only style stealthers use here (except when fighting other stealthers, then it's afterevade/anytimer or detaunt backup). I don't know what TA is.

Landing the entire after-evade chain, heh good luck.

LA on critblade what ?

Not critbalde ok, soulbalde if u prefer 5 spec :)
-44 cs // 39 La// 34weapon// 34 stealth// 26 dot

I had already tryed this on live.

The after evade chain can be landed easy, with the LA evade stun before.

If you hit very fast + Achiles Hell who give -20 % attaque speed descrease.

You can land after evade, Comeback , Frosty gaze(stun), then while stun the whole cs evade combo..
Then you can land again Armstring to try a new cs evade combo before stun goes off. Awsome dmg output , even more if the the 44 cs style debuff target again.

Tested and aprouved..Sure if the target use purge then can block or parry or evade the cs chain...but if not.. You land it easy.

I don't know if Garrot + Achille Hells combo does as much damages as Double frost spamming on Uthgard, but on live it does

I wil try it, anyway. If Its weak i ll go for a 44 La spec...

Garotte + AH > DF spamming :)

There is no ABS-debuff on Leaper, Rib Separation and Pincer.

Do some AT till 16 and you can go:

35 Weapon
35 Stealth
35 Envenom
34 CS
39 LA

Or without AT drop Weapon to 34
Uthgard till 2003!

Yes but if i use CS styles for main damage, ill prefer to go with 44 Cs..

Loosing last debuff is a hard choice, but i ll take it with better ranks :)..

I ll play with another stealther who will be full SZ with last debuff/dot ect...

And i AT untill lvl 44 :)

At 5l i will have 49 composite weapon //49 stealth.. Should not give me troubles i think.

i dont know if i go, 44cs/39la/35 weapon/35 stealth /22 venom or 44/39/34/34/26 to have the dot lvl 40 at 4l.

Or 39 cs/39la spec with last dot debuff can be good as well..

Stealther dectection is based all on Mos here, and other chars can't see me with 49 anymore...

Rib Separation don't have any bonus here, instead off abs debuff?

You can't do that on uthgard. You have 3 seconds time to execute a style after it's pre-requisite has occurred. That would mean that you need to land 3 styles in less than 3 seconds which is impossible. Try it out against any mob.
