haha at sali. got problems with many forums u dont understand or why saying this than ?

wenn ppl want have forum, they will ask for it, and i see no reason why not allow them having forum. u can see if it will be active or not, and than decide delete it again or not.

however many russians does not know any foreign languages and still wanted to play here. beeing not able to speak in forum with other ppl on their native language makes them leave the server :) dont offer me PMs, with 10+ ppl it is not usable anymore.

No i dont like a million forums..
1) More forums = more work to clean up, and keep track of.
2) For uthgard to be more "1" comunity its better to have 1 forum. there is allready so many chats going on in diffrent sub forums that could be shared.

I think that is 2 very good reasons that sub forums is a bad idear.. But as your refering to a million of forums im assuming that you never had anythings to do with forums like this?

maybe u noticed that not all ppl in the world are able to speak english, many of them never will ... so anyway u never get them speaking on your forum, they will 1) make own forum (u loose all they speak there and cant even read it) or b) they get sub forum, where all who CAN read their language could see what they talking about and share with others if he thinks it is important enough.

look at subforums here on uthgard, it almost more action there as in main forum :)

btw any russians play on hib, alb? or only in mid some ? maybe need some nice guild if we are more tan 8 :)

I think that idea to open our own Russian subforum is realy grate indeed. I was already think about that.
I want to say a few words to those people who don't think that Russian subforum need to be open:
You are underestimating russian speaking community. We are a grate of numbers! It is not about just one nation or country, which by the way are largest in the world. Are you still remember the former USSR?! For most of this 15 countries russian language still is well known, and they use it as 2nd-national and international between themselfs. By the way, I am from Ukraine, see? It is not about one nation, it is about a huge part of the world!
In a lands of the former USSR knows allmost nothing about DAOC. For those people who don't speak English there is no opportunity to find this server and play on it! A huge army of russian speaking people is leaving behind! :( We are a strong and skilled warriors, but we need a start point here. We need are subforum.
I ask an Administration for that, and I will do it in any other place or form, if this one is unexeptable.
And I need for your support, russian community! Let's show Uthgard community, that we are interesting in that!

Im fully agree with STARKILLER... We are recently began to play in DAOC, and nothing know abaut this game... It is problematic to read enormous articles in English and translate them...

Well, the main reason why I want rus subforum is to give the opportunity for russian speaking people (like I say there are a lot of them in the world) to play here, to find people those they can understand and be understood by them, to share info about the game to each other.
As for me, I like English, and I am not planing to live main forum if russian subforum will be open. I will be on the both of them.

I would like to ask a question to the Russian forumers. :)

I believe you're using a variant of the Cyrillic alphabet on your keyboard (correct me if I'm wrong), and I've been wondering what you guys usually do to write English text (your posts don't seem to be online-translated).

Just a simple question as I know next to nothing about your language.

Alt+shift. You can have more than 1 language setting on your keyboard.
