The result is that we're competing for spawns. Albion has Necromancers and Hibernia has Animists. The result is those two realms have an easy path to power-level each other and get great gear. Although Bonedancers can farm well, the population from /who tells me they aren't as popular as their Albion and Hibernia equivalents. I wouldn't be surprised if Midgard is the underpopulated/underdog realm in three months.
