Hey all! I'm Greg.
I just found out about this awesome classic server and decided to try it out. DAoC was my first MMO, and probably my favorite to date. I played on Midgard/Igraine from launch until about a month after ToA released. I'm looking for a good active guild to join so I have people to level up with, and eventually RvR with. I'm in Eastern time zone. Any recommendations? Also, I'd appreciate any advice for best places to level up quick (PvE bores me, I'm here for the PvP) Thanks in advance! -Greg |

Welcome to Uthgard!
I recommend staying in Mularn Protectors for a while, until you get your footing on the server. I think youll have the best luck of finding others around your level easily while in the starter guild. Midgard Guilds This link has some info about the different guilds, some are probably no longer active, but its a start. Asking in-game may get you some sends as well. For leveling Mularn and East Svealand are good places, Nisse groups are very nice xp as well when you can get them going. DF rats can be done around 13-14 (oj/red i think) (+25% xp in DF) around 20-22+ just outside of Svasud Faste in Uppland you can find lots of mobs to kill, and Uppland gives +15% xp. I find DF is usually a good place to get a few mob kills and then a free ride back to your bindpoint, compliments of albion or hibernia players. The choice on that is yours, if you get a group DF rocks for xp. Uppland can take you up to about level 40, and at that level you can solo/group in Dodens Gruva/Halls of Corrupt/Marfach Caverns. (these rvr dungeons give +40% xp but dodens and marfach usually see a lot of pvp action so youll most likely need a group here) Hope this helps, good luck! |

an small advice, dont judge the server behavior based on battlegrounds activity, lv 50 game differs greatly from battlegrounds, if you were a live player try to find a guild that matches your playstyle
