Roll norse sb, because sb do slash damage, and his strength is the higest. Kobold and valkin are fine cause high evade rate and swing speed, but they have low conc and strength.
While you will level dont train stealth before level 48, you should do autotrain. Before level 48 only train weapon left axe and envenom. Dont waste points in CS because with low stealth you cant land PA.

My advice about spec is 50LA 35 weapon 36 stealth 36 envenom and rest in CS.
For ras my advice is go full damage and dont waste points in envenom. But this is your choise other sbs will say you that you need viper vecause helps a lot.

Every rr after rr5 you can respec for increase other skills and decrease skills like envenom and stealth.

Decent advice but I would say that specing in crit is just fine as I did it early on and was able to land PA just fine vs players in all 3 BGs. High envenom and RAs as viper1, then 2, then 3 because SB is a master of front end dmg so you want as much front end dmg as possible. If you want to follow a shadowzerk spec you should definitely follow the person who wrote the post above me but I stopped autotraining at lvl 40 because the extra 23 spec points werent going to help me in any 5 spec I could figure out. My rr4 50 spec wsa 39 LA for the stun, 36 stealth and envenom so I could use lifebane and get 50 composite stealth, 34 crit for PA and Creeping Death, and 34 Axe sword. At RR5 I spec'd to 35 crit, stealth, axe, env, and 39 LA with +15 in all skills. The biggest thing about being a shadowblade and most people can agree with this...is that your choice in spec is up to you because everyone plays differntly and uses their SB different. Where some people are DF hunters and rely on quick upfront dmg and to hide back in stealth again other people want to increase their ability to fight longer and do more dmg throughout that fight per swing. I was 5 spec and viper 3 in thid and was nearly unstoppable by any class 1v1. Ofc some heavy tanks always beat me and there was always a random enemy that won but overall i enjoyed my time doing it and would do it all over again given the opportunity. My suggestion is to find an SB that you want to play like and ask that person what they do and what they would do differently if given the opportunity. Above all have fun and if yo have questions about the class as a 5 spec you can find me in game.

i'd follow cjisca's advices, i did the same and i had no kind of problems with my sb.

with zerk spec (50 LA / 35 / 35 / 35 / 11 CS) i could kill soloer with higher rank then mine (i was rr4)
my RA's were mop 3 - aug str 3 - viper 2 and i enjoyed them..

now i m rr5 with that spec all 35 and the remaning points in LA (now i don t remember if they are 39 or 44, i m not my pc now)
with that spec i have PA + following style >>>>>>>> and as anytimer Garrote + Achille's heel >>>>>>> evade chain with stun from LA styles.. as back styles u can use the BS2 from CS is stealthed or the LA chain if not stealthed, both deal a lot of dmg

btw, i don t fit so much with that spec i prefer the zerk one..but that is a personal choise..

another spec (i didn't try it but i heard it is quite efficent is: 21CS / weapon 38 / evenom 35 / stealth 35 / LA 44) imo quite good but at least for rr5

hope you find your way

cheers, bubana
