Hello! I was reading some templates for an healer and I've seen all of them give bonus to aug. What does the +11 aug give?? I thought it was useless

should affect the value of base buffs, if I'm not mistaken.

it makes buffs better 'till composite aug 50.

Heho,
A buff gives the highest value if spell level == Aug level +1, only level 50 Buffs don't need the +1. The minmum value is 75% of the the value of the buff, the highest 125% of the value. So highes value for the dex base ( level 48 ) buff on a healer it need 49 in Aug. 38 aug + 11 sc aug would be enough for that or 37 + 11 sc aug + 1 from RR2 As example on my healer 19 aug + 11 aug sc + 10 RR are 40 in Aug. My Dex Buff isn't cap with that so it give 4 points lesser then a buff from a aughealer with a sc. Greetz Luydor |

i thought the same, but back when my aug healer was just 36 aug+6 from rr+5 from sc =47 the buffs where still not cap. 1 point missing (and all base buffs not just the dex)... with composite 50 they are all cap. On the other hand... who cares about 1 point

Heho,
Sorry made a mistake, the dex buff is 48 and i read short about that. It is +1 one. I edit it. Greetz Luydor |

Thank you very much!

Reviving this thread so I can ask a question: Based on the information above, would this mean a 42 aug shaman would only need enough +aug from RR and gear to hit 50 and that going over that would be a waste?

In terms of baseline buffs, yes. You will not get better base buffs by going over composite lvl 50. But higher specced aug means better spec buffs of course
![]() EDIT: If you're set on being 42 aug, you will, of course, not get better spec buffs by getting + to aug gear ![]() |
