thought I would share this. Big thanks to the former zerker TL, Vilna, for doing the testing and parsing of the data.

new formula:

http://sites.slobodov.com/vilna/daoc/newla

main hand damage multiplier = 77.33% + 0.33%*spec [main hand]

offhand damage multiplier = 50% + 0.5%*spec

The old forumula was 62.5% +.33%*spec (same for both hands)

hmm.... i must admit, im qute sceptical about these testresults and this site.

also im quite sceptical thats this is the only change mythic made to offtanks. If bersi got such high dmg increase, it would only be logical for bm and merc to get a dual-hitchance increase, but this one is not stated on that page.

also, this change, in case it happened, would be far post 1.80 which is uth patchstand.

Patch 1.99f

Class Changes and Fixes

* Left Axe: The formula that determines weapon damage while wielding two weapons has been adjusted. Players will see improvements in damage at lower Left Axe specialization values, bringing them in line with other dual wielding specializations

As Satz said this will never happen on Uthgard.

not suggesting uthgard change the mechanics of left axe, simply pointing out that it will be different on live. Anyone testing zerker/SB dmg on uthgard against live will find discrepancies, and this is the why/how.
