a friend and I are planning on rolling here. He is actually new to the game (I've played since release), so I figured he could start of on an assist tank. I'd like to play a savage (ya I know, no charge, but I like the class), but just wanted to make sure they are working properly, all the buffs and the like.

Sorry to trouble everyone with such a simple question, I looked at the lists of classes and what was working, but I just wanted to confirm.

Cheers.

all selfbuffs of svg work, but we had much trouble in last month cause of QQ from other realm.
So they posted some wrong basics and crappy links to get the svg nerved.

But after the nerv the same QQer loose vs mid grps , like ever, cause it isnt the svg who wins a fight, its the grp.

Now we have a svg with less critchance but we still rock the area.

to be continued...

lol allright, call me a liar too. Yea you are right, you rock cause you are pro and everyone else sucks, so I write bugreports with "wrong basics and crappy links". Brainless...

To answer the question : yes savage is working and has everything implemented.
I am assuming direct control.

Oh they were nerfed? In what way exactly...I love the class, but I guess I need to know more about the nerf to know if I can still play one.

EDIT: Whoa, I seemed to have found a controversial topic here. is there a post somewhere that explains all this I can read?

This "nerf" is actually that the multi-hit rate was lowered to be livelike. The difference isn't that high though, but some guys can't accept that a non-mid player writes bugreports about a mid class
I am assuming direct control.

The nerf youre talking about...

Now svg multihitrates are more livelike than ever.

Before each forth hit was a tripple, and quads could be seen several times a fight aswell, the actual chances were messed up a little.

roll a savage you won't be disappointed

unless you are looking for a challenge that is.

edit: methusalem... just lol. it wasn't a nerf it was a fix and those "wrong basics are crappy links" are called livetests. You are free to make them yourself to prove Hedra and me wrong, it's pretty easy.

you are exactly what I imagine under "midgard player"

does anyone know the offhand fire rates? I didn't think mythic ever gave that out.

I don't think anyone can play any class perfectly, so there's always room to challenge yourself.

Oh, ya, that's just a small adjustment to make it like live. Sweet.

Wow, they reduced the critchance but only to svgs while I was gone?
Did they finally give your shaman shears, or do you still just charge into the enemy group and spam instant pbae disease because it's too hard for you to target someone?

Closed to keep more lies to come out as "facts"

1. savages was never nerfed, they were fixed to be livelike
2. savages crit rate was never touched
3. savages are fully working as of patch 1.80
4. the savage fixes was 100% documented and correct

enjoy your stay here force :) have fun with your savage

edit: savages arent 100% working - they are still missing a few styles like ae styles etc - sorry
