Hi all,

Im finding my hunter is getting weaker and weaker the higher im getting, im considering starting a new class. ie Shadowblade. However before i do i am also considering another class that may be needed in grps.

What mage is a good mage for grps? and would a warriar be a good grp class?

If i was to do a tank or a mage are grps for RVR in there plenty as there is nothing worse than when i was on live standing around shouting LFG all night for rvr with no joy, hense why i went for hunter originally. If RVR grps at lvl 50 are easy to find i may not consider a SB.

many thanks

There are enough rvr groups on mid. There are enough players to build new rvr groups so shouldnt be a problem. If you take a caster, take rm. If you know how to play this class, youll be invited in groups as soon as you hit rr5^^. If not, just another easykill incomming!
But well, same goes for any other classes. If you roll a warrior, you wont get invites if you dont have det5 and dont know how to play thats for sure!
The only class that guarantees you to get invites is a pac healer, not matter your skill, shooting instas shouldnt be a problem, right?^^
You can also try a shammy, in case you wont find any groups, you stil can run out solo as soon as you get ichor2. dot+sprint+desease etc. you know the idea, right?

I notice that you have said you need RR5 to get a grp and if a warriar you need Det 5,

One question i have is how can you get RR5 if no one will want you in a group until you have RR5? surely a grp and Realm points go hand in hand. no grp no Realm points to get RR5?

4L2 can be achieved in BGs and 4L2->RR5 is usually done in pugs (pick up grps) or with guard / solo tasks

Det5 needs 34 points, that's 4L4, not 5L. This means you have only 2 points to make once you got out of Thidranki.

It's true that support classes are more likely to be grouped, regardless of their ranks (I guess it's the same thing in any realm). Whether heavy/light tanks are often (but not always) required to have det5.

This said, det5 or 5L won't 100% guarantee anyone, whether mage, tank or support, to find a group, or should I say this won't guarantee anyone end RvR activity. It's not that simple. Although there's a ****** of guilds (IMO way too much), many groups end up in PUG, built with what's there and want to join.

That's why I think Hawkster should rather focus on what kind of gameplay he wants and stick with that, instead of thinking in term of "groupability". If you like to play tank, then go ahead. If you want to play mage, then do so. Either way, you'll need to hang on during inactivity and wait for better times.

Don't forget most chars in Thid are 49 and templated already, you can't expect doing the same damages as you did in Braemar. :P

Mhhh if u want make a caster rm or bonedancer, when u will be 50 u must to be 4l2 and sc. After if u want to be group u must know how play :) ==> have a good placement. Haiden and Pestilenzia actually have got the better placement of midgard caster.

Learn with us and it will be ok for you or you will stay at svasud faste.
