hi, i can't decide what merc spec i should go for lvl50 rvr ... primarily 8vs8 or small man.

50 thrust 50 dw rest parry

or

39 thrust 50 dw 42 shield rest parry

what about

44 thrust 44 dw 42 shield rest parry

i think the 44 snare style from thrust is interesting, but slam would be important too. is there a massive dmg difference when i go only 39 thust compared to 50 thrust? do you realy need 50 dw or is 44 ok too? doing at thrust up to lvl40 by the way.

These are just my opinions.

Merc should never go for 44 thrust snare. Mercs get prevent flight, and slam. Side snare also but not reliable.

50DW/42shield/3x weaponskill(make composite 51)/rest parry

You will only use dual wield styles, so yes you want 50 DW + 11.

Slam is manual shield swap, but irreplaceable.

You shouldn't be using weaponline styles so as long as you have 51 composite weaponskill there's no advantage to going beyond that, besides the styles, which again you shouldn't be using.
