I'm looking for an active EU time zone focussed guild that does both RVR as PVE, I'm looking for the "competent but laid back" group that makes active use of voice and other means of communication.

About me:
I'm "a bit older", 47, so my stance on "old school MMO's" is why I'm back. With age also comes issues like slower reaction times (it's really noticeable ) so I can't really do the melee positional stuff any more hehe. Then again I prefer to be a healer in PVP and groups anyway, so it shouldn't matter too much.

I started playing in 2001 one week after US launch, kept playing till 2004 (alb) or so and then switched to the EU server (hib). Around 2005 I quit DAoC and switched to EVE Online, another open world PVP MMO, and kept playing that till a short while ago. Playing that for 12 years means I've done pretty much everything and it had become a habit I couldn't quit rather than something that's actually enjoyable. I did quit it, mostly, and have been looking for... an open wold PVP MMO and guess what, none really exist and thus I'm back.

I have dabbled before on old Uthgard but never really made it stick so I have a bunch of knowledge on the game but I lack experience and am clueless on new or changed stuff. When I started about a week ago I tried Midgard first as I hadn't played that before but didn't like it, then contemplated going Hib but after a short stint decided to go back to where it all started: Albion.


Character wise I have the following, they're all really low level:

Magnusson: Cleric, this is going to be my group/RVR character
Magnussen: My paladin to be, to do group PVE with for income and entertainment, and if they'd ever be seen as viable in RVR
PharmPhest: the inevitable DS Necro, to help me get started cash wise
