Just curious what the most played classes are in Albion? Thinking about switching over from mid.

(Are there a ton of minstrels?)

A ton? No I don't think so. It's a very high skill cap class to play though.

We have far to many Cabalists and Nacros atm.

PvE wise we are often hurting for Paladins.

Sorc / Armsman / Cleric / Theurgist population seems "good"

I think we could use a few more Mercs.

I guess it depends on what you want to do more of. If you give more information I will try to be more specific :)

Thinking of coming over to make a mI steel (favorite class) but scared to delete my 39 warrior and 26 skald and restart if minstrels are as popular as skalds and bards are on mid and hib

Minstrels are a great class, they will never be as poplular because it take more skill to play a minst.

They get:
chain
Speed
Power chant
CC
Stealth
Pets!

They are good (and needed) at both solo and group RVR. If you are good at kiting you will excel at solo minst in RVR.

isn't it possible to switch realm by waiting around 1 week and not deleting your characters? you could to this to try ministrel on albion, if you don't like it you can switch back to midgard.

Hit the realm switch in your account and wait 7 days to play or delete your characters.

Also minstrel is rouge while skald is warrior so they are on different damage tables.

More talented Minstrels will always be welcome. You will find a lot more enemies in RvR if you make the switch. As others have said if you are nervous about deleting your toons, just select the option to switch realms and wait a week, that way you can switch back if you find you don't like the class as much as you remember.

Why would I find more enemies if I switch..? Because mid is super overpopulated?

And where did you get that graph?

forget the classes and graph.

albion is just doing pve atm, the real chars will follow, so there will be a big change in this data soon.

minst is atm aroung 10% of the population when i look. but this will change when necros and cabbas are 50 and the other toons will be lvlt.

nobody likes to actually play a AT minstrel. so they will just stick them to 40/48

and grps you will only get if you dont AT.

and then when you are finally there and 45 you notice that you need an expensive temp for the competition and start a necro ;)

Graph is from a db of players I keep after doing hundreds of /who over the last 3 weeks. Updates level/RR through the uthgard api.

I love alb, but I can't fathom playing a melee class with such a ****** implementation of endo, or a caster class with Nearsight and no group purge.

i take autotrain minstrels in my groups. grey speed is all you need as a mins to be a great body puller.
