Killed them on my theurgist and cabalist.
Theurgist : they would attack the pets and me eventually.
Cabalist: send in pet,if pet lost aggro they would attack me.
Then today I attacked one on my scout.Shot him full of arrows and he just stood there and seemed to
fire back but I didn't seem to get hit.

Bug? Or is killing them like this an exploit?

If you attack them only from range they will try to shoot you but get interrupted till death. If you send something/someone to melee range they start to attack melee. So you didn't take any dmg with your scout because you were interrupting. No idea how did they work on live thou.

if i remember right, they aggro you with bow as soon as you get in range, if the get interupted they come for you in meele.
Dont think this is working as intended :D

Cornwall Hunters use ranged attack first, while they are not attacked with melee or at melee range... so is very easy for a scout, for example, to stay out of their range, which is the base range from the crapy arrows they use: 1760 units.

I guess if other class attack them with pets, the pets will attack at melee range, so the caster must stay out from their bow range: 1760.

This hunters are very easy to kill with ranged classes, i leveled my scout there, and at higher level (25+), i went to the forest hunters/stalkers in forest sauvage, whom react in the same way... and since is RvR zone the xp is huge hehehe... at 40+ you can go to snowdonia to hunt Tylwyth Teg Huntress/ranger/rover....

I will also add the Teg rangers in Penn Mts, snowdonia do the same thing. If you shoot them it interupts their bow shots. They perpetually try to shoot but are unable to hit you...thus you plunk, plunk, plunk them dead. As I was leveling up my hunter they were easy XP 40+ ...almost too easy. Not to mention the +25% XP bonus for frontier PVE.

Large packs of them too (Big one behind Surs, Smaller one between surs and berk, and another big one in the corner of Snowdonia (near the hollow men circle). I made a path running between penn and snowdonia killing these and a few crops of trees along the way. Crap for gold, in fact its not worth collecting any bags..let em rot. If you need gold kill the hollow men as they die easily to range (slash) commonly drop staves work 36g each salvage.

Good luck. I give you this info as I now can take my hunter and kill you all!
