I think a template cant get much cheaper than yours, but sometimes its better to farm a few more days and buy one or two items, to get a really decent temp, which you can keep for a very long time.

After the sc nerf (no more all focus stones), its harder to get focus on all important lines. I do not know which char your template is for(cab or sorc), but you also got spells from other lines, you will use often - like mezz(sorc) or pet buffs(cab). Without focus you ll run oop quite soon.

All focus staves are not too expensive. For example Obedience is like 600-800g in housing - unfortunately, on Albion side it got no +all magic, but only +4air. Anyway - you get all focus on it. There could be more cheap all focus staves, like one from df with +5 matter or so.. No need to save for the 25p sh or tajendi staff.


With following quite easy to get items I got an all cap temp with 99% gear and overload.

2Hand: Obdience -> 600-800g
Neck: Exquisite Avernal Necklace -> DF
Cloak: Blessed Cloak of Alifa -> Quest
Jewel: Gem of Spirit Abhorrent -> 40g
Waist: Superior Accursed Belt of Might -> DF
Right Ring: Exquisite Infernal Black Diamond Ring -> DF
Left Ring: Exquisite Infernal Black Diamond Ring -> DF or swap one Ring for a Kobils Ring, which go for 200g-1p
Right Wrist: Veiled Bracer of Eyes -> Quest, but only for melee classes - so do it on another char or convive a m8^^ or buy for less than 1p
Left Wrist: Verdant Ornate Bracer -> Drop from GK -> I always buy for little bit more than 1p

Of course, you need a little bit more money, but you'll get a template with which you got cap stats and you'll be competetive in RVR.

Dirty this is true but the one posted was meant to get started with and go from 37 to 49.5.

At 50 I bet you could sell this temp and build a better one.

Hi, I rolled cabalist a few weeks ago and I'm approaching level 40. The plan is to respec to tri for rvr purposes upon level 40.. Was curious if it was possible to make a full-capped template for reasonably cheap.. I have a 99%quality full cloth suit and was hoping to incorporate DF jewelry. Could the people of knowledge give me some templates/ideas??

I do not think it is possible, to get an all cap tri-spec temp with df jewlry only.

You could either ditch some resists, i.e. spirit, which is not that important as alb player.

Or farm some money, like at gobo spot - for that, you should be matter spec, which of course is no valid 8-men spec (maybe viable for zerg, though breaking cc ).

All focus and +all magic skill gems got removed, but you need one for your tri-spec cab. There is one cheap df drop with +5 or 6 matter and all focus on it. Also, there is a cheap tajendi drop, called obedience, which unfortunately got +4 wind on alb side, instead of +2 all magic skills like on mid. But anyway, it goes for below 1p, and I use it for any cheap caster templates.

Besides df jewlry, you should go for the Tajendi 1 cloak = group quest, which is one of the better cloaks and for free.

Also, there is a quest, unfortunately for melee classes only, from which you get the veiled bracer of eyes, which got really good stats on it. It is tradeable and you can buy it in housing for like 600g. I also like the verdant ornate bracer, but this goes for 1, nowadays even for 2 plat.

Lately, I read some templates with the Sladug bracer in it - it is a drop from named in lyonesse, which is so so... ok for a starter temp, hard to cap all with it.

Also, the Gem of Spirit Abhorrent is the standard for jewlry slot. It is dropped of gobos, and goes for like 40g.

Well, either farm a lot of gobos with matter spec, attend some public dragon raids (monday, friday) or roll another money toon, as with cab you will not get many chances to attend the high end raids, which bring money.. except for Dragon Raid, for the messenger group, either one cab or one icer is taken.

For below temp, swap cold to body for your cab. I do not know the effect of +spirit - I think pet buffs could be better then, but I did not manage to fit this in.
