Works +Focus All Magic Lines on a Staff for reducing Manacosts for the Clerics Smite Line?

you should try it yourself with your theurg's staff on your cleric l think.
No way to get all focus on a mass ? because your shield can block some blow

from what i heard and read everywhere focus does not help non-cloth-casters...never tested it though

ok, so i will craft and sc me one Staff and report here my results

nop - it should not decrease mana costs. otherwise you could also reduce your healcosts by using all-focus staffs - would be kinf od sick

but because there is no single-focus (gem) for smite, the smite-line is not included in all-focus (gems)

This have some kind of logic,but as we know,Mythic sometimes had lack of brain,when they made something in game.

As far as i can remember, focus does affect only list casters, the ones who keep each and every version of their various spells while leveling, even the lowest ones (therefore the name 'list caster', those who have a long list of spells).

Moreover (but i'm way less sure about this), focus should affect only baseline spells power consumption. The spec ones always use the same amount of power and have no variance in their effect unlike the baseline ones could have. Again, i'm not completely sure about this last thing.

Feel free to prove i'm wrong, it's just about old memories.

friars are using only staffs - still no focus available for them. at least i've never seen any e.g. dropped friar staff with focus(es) why shouls there be an focus for clerics then?
but well, test + proove > theory. so please let us know as soon as you did some tests

here are results:
testing subject: 50 lvl cleric (42enh/33rej/7 smite)
without staff with focus to all spells 50lvls: casted 12x 50lvl baseline smite spell
50 lvl cleric with staff with focus to all spells 50lvls: casted 12x 50lvl baseline smite spell

with staff casted 80x 50lvl baseline heal
without staff casted 83x 50 lvl baseline heal

with staff casted 5x spreadheal (gift of the host,30lvl spec heal),12% mana leftover
without staff: 5x spreadheal (gift of the host,30lvl spec spell),13% of mana pool leftover

conclusion: focus bonus 50 lvls to all spell lines dont affect heal or smite spells.
