I have been searching the forum for any hint on good farming spots in Albion. I never played here on live so I have nothing to compare it with. Most of the posts I find are old and complaining about no good farming spots in Albion. Is it it still like this or are there any good spots to go for some fairly fast cash flow?

I asked several times in Albion about farming. Most answers I received were:

1) Farm in Midgard/Hibernia and transfer to Albion
2) Seals
3) Guard Task
4) Raid

There is nothing worth farming to salvage anymore it seems other than Seals :?

I can personally tell you, Albion farm spots are dead. The best I can do is about 300g in 30 minutes. And that's a solid 30 minutes of zero distractions.

2) Seals <<------ If you have a salvager, and albion ever has DF and you can actually farm seals w/o getting run over by a Hib prince group, yes :)
3) Guard Task <<< ------ Most reliable basically.
4) Raid <<< ------- Yurp.

hm at the old "bugged" days you could farm gobo's with a cabby and made 900-1,2p per hour (with some salvaging extra time)
the last time i farmed there i guess it was about 600g per hour. but not sure about the excact amount...

As Magicco has said, if you have a cabby, try gobbos. However I think those drop rates are pretty ****** now. However - if you have a 'runner' in the group of farming gold, they can run to a merchant, sell the junk, while you keep farming.

If you don't have a cabby - here's what I've tried & found. (Done with 50 Friar <Aug Dex 2, MoParry 2, MoPain 2, IP2)
-Farm salvage drops - stonehenge barrows works best at 50 in my experience.
-I have farmed sapphire seal mobs on my 50 constantly for over 20 minutes(zero downtime), no interrupted breaks/smoking/bio's<ewww> ... I barely grinded out 120g(ish) and about 30 seals, give or take. This is constant work and the paranoia of getting ganked while fighting yellow+ mobs drives you insane.

How I make my 200-300g in 30 minutes as a melee. Ponies. Ponies. . . . and more ponies. You won't get gold while killing them that's true. However, when you sell their hides, it rains gold. They're very effin' heavy - so if you can craft a cloth/leather set with capped +STR on it, this will help as well.
As a melee - here is your tactic......
Start attacking pony. Don't use styles unless you truly want to, it's not really needed.
Turn camera 180 degrees, start walking backwards with mob attacking you, and you attacking it.
As you're walking backwards, aim your chacter to walk backwards into another mob.
First mob dies, attack second mob.
If the first mob isn't dead, keep walking backwards towards a third mob if you have a ranged taunt / DD. When first mob dies, pull second mob, while still moving towards 3rd mob. If you're not killing fast enough, learn to walk backwards while using styles.
Rinse, repeat.

I do this all over Dartmoor. I'm pretty sure a LOT of people have thought I'm lagging out due to non stop walking backwards, however I'm just moving right along to my next mob.

That's how I farm my gold on my friar.

Few tips:
if you're a shield user, get a DD proc on it - not ablative or DoT -
Get DD proc armor if you can.
Get a FAST DD proc weapon, or a very slow high DPS weapon. The mobs at 50 are grey, so it's not likely you'll miss or fumble.
These three tips will help kill faster.
If you become irate, angry, wrathful, furious, ireful, wroth or indignent by anything that I say to you or just in general; you should always remember, it's only because I care that I pay attention in the first place.

the best way to make money is invest heavily in the next thing uthgard removes (like barrels and legendaries)
 start by imagining something that makes the game better, but wasnt there on live during 1.69  (the list is very large)

Not many seem to master taj2. Get set group and get master in farming it.
