Hey, I just found this server, and this is crazy, but I hate modern WoW, so Roleplay with me maybe?

So, I see DAoC looks great and I want to ask is there any Roleplaying guild around (Albion maybe)? I want to try out DAoC, but I'm addicted to RPG (I won't say RP because I've learned it means something entirely different here).

So, is there any chance to meet other roleplayers on Uthgard, or would I become the village fool talking to trees?

There was the Sword And Rose guild, they were roleplay... but they have long disbanded. One was more likely to find roleplayers back then becase there was an actual environment for it (realm mates were ALWAYS on the same side, they had common goals, disputed against other realms instead of each other...).

I would say that roleplay chance is near zero now, it has little room in Dark Age of RealmPoints

In old times long gone, there was lots of roleplay to be had in DaoC (on the right servers), but with merging upon merging of servers, the roleplayers there were have been pushed out be people who seem to view roleplayers as a nuisance (don't ask me why, but some people get annoyed at people who roleplay).

So the answer is "no", and neither will you find it on the Live servers.
I even think attempting to make a roleplaying community will ultimately fail, as it takes a fairly large group of people online constantly to sustain it.

if you find a pure roleplay guild in hib/mid/alb tell me, than i would come back to uth^^

Count me in if there is a roleplay guild forming. I tried to start one here a year ago but it fizzled out rather quickly.

I'm totaly up for that, i stopped DaoC because of that, but i'm still a noob lol

I've been roleplaying around the past week or two

I generally roleplay everywhere. I get worn down in groups sometimes and go out of character a tiny bit, but for the most part I am roleplaying that character. I think this game is pretty dull without roleplay actually.

Drachengarde performs usually a great Roleplay the way they play the role of beeing a dud is really incredible
