Hi all! I've been away from daoc a while and I'm thinking of getting back into it on here. I just had a few questions. First, Ive gotten the impression on here thata lot of folks feel pretty strongly about zerging/8v8/dueling. I've always viewed an enemy as an enemy, whether I'm solo or in groups. Now, I'm not gonna go out of my way to kill anyone working on lvls, and I'll tend to pass up someone if I've just recently killed them. I just wanted to get a general idea how its viewed here. Also, how is alb compared to hib and mid here? I tend to prefer the underdog realm...the belief is more targets for me but the reality is more time spent typing /release lol! Anyway, thanks in advance for your time and answers!

Play how you want, don't let others dictate how you should play. There are people of all play types. Playing the way you enjoy the most will allow you to find others with a similar mindset.

The realms are fairly well balanced. It seems as though Mid has the higher RvR activity atm compared to Alb/Hib.
Alb - Eternitys, Eternityz, Spectres, Prophecy, Phantasm, Swarm
Mid - Spheres, Cicada, Aalea

Eternitys - If were allowing custom changes, why would the staff choose to remove a very very good and highly accepted custom change such as barrels? Then on top of that, use the "it's livelike" excuse as a reason for removing them? If staff are so concerned about livelike and that's the direction the staff wish to go, I'd fully support a 100% livelike server. However if there are custom changes on the server, then using the "livelike" excuse is being nothing more then hypocritical.

Staff - Locked!

Oh yea, I'll play it the way I want, was just kinda wondering if that would mean I spend a lot of time by my lonesome if I happen to stumble into a duel or whatnot. If I see red names and blue names, my reactions tend to be join in or get out of dodge, not see if I'm invited. ;-)

Also, as a US East Coast player, would there be enough rvr to keep me here? Honestly once I get 50 and most of my gear is good, I don't really do much but rvr or attack keeps...

Probably run a minst and cleric. I love the stealth game, but so much better in support!
