Hi there im looking to play a good solo exp class i was wondering how a reaver compares to a paladin for soloing exp.. as well as how a friar compares to those 2 as well.. i am also curious as to how needed/wanted a friar is in end game rvr?

I will post my experience with the classes. Remember, these are MY experiences:

Paladin: High abs from plate + AF chant. Very good defenses with high shield. Low damage output, but damage add which isnt on a timer helps to make it more tolerable. Spamathyst slash is arguably the best anytime in the game if you spec slash, and anytime crush taunt->stun is very low end. Groups will want you for your endo chant and to tank mobs. Assuming you have SOME clue how to play a tank you will find leveling easy as nearly every group wants that endo chant.

Reaver: Without question my favorite solo class, but unfortunately I have many gripes about the reavers on uthgard. The lifetap weapon proc is borked to say the least, although it semi-works. Levi and indigo procs have variance when they shouldnt. Even given this, my love for the class has blinded me to the many issues with them on uthgard. High shield for great defense, insta lifetap to help keep life up, lifetap weapon proc for more damage/life, a dot to pull with, and if you decide not to AT, after you get indigo leveling literally becomes a cakewalk. Instructions: Find undead mob. Autoattack till you land viper, indigo x2, rofl. Groups usually accept reavers as dps, but a merc will be higher on the list, so there may be times you get passed up.

Friar: In my opinion the hardest of the 3 classes to play well in rvr, (most friars think they are a melee class, so they get passed up. GOOD friars that heal when needed and melee when needed are a valuable slot) but for pve they are a good slot. Base buffs, decent melee, backup heals. They fill a lot of holes. Duo with a Sheild tank for some Rofl fast xp. This is a versatile class that can find groups easily for xp. Solo they are great with high evade and self buffs. Can chain ojs fairly easily, and reds at higher levels.

Hope that helps.

Question: How you do 2 x Indigo after the 5s afterblock stun ? :D
Hope GMs are fine with what they have stated, that they are fine with just 80 people (300ppl was Trishin Statement long time ago) playing the game under their vision.
Its important to leave this server running doesn't matter how low the numbers will be. The other servers can fail but Uthgard still will be there, thats Uthgards only chance.

Edit 19/09/21: Well Uthgards chance has come.

I'm guessing small shield (and a d/q buff + haste).
