ye..it was something like "reduce target movement speed by 100%" so i wrote..root. i know its no root, but nearly the same.

Side Slicer

Opening : To side of target Fatigue : Low Damage : Medium Special : Hindered - Reduces the target's movement speed. Value 100% Duration 12 seconds

Doubler

Opening : Behind target Fatigue : High Damage : Medium Attack : Low Bonus Special : Target snared

catacombs charplaner. so i guessed its 2 different things..shame on me.

I never argued against that. I only said that I'd pick the 1h snare over the 2h snare due to obvious reasons, among them being the faster attack speed, less endurance cost and the important fact that you can still guard while snaring.

Where did I say so?

eeek. Something is strange - maybe not.

On uthgard already having 4 points in 2H = Backsnare.
While according to some charplaner - there shouldnt be.

So prolly the planer is wrong ?

Doubler is only 2h backsnare. Lvl 4 style is a stun.

I have a level 44 paldin on uthgard.
He has a level 4 style = Backsnare on 2h. Thats a fact.

My question was: Is that OK and the planer is wrong? Or vice versa.

Nope, the planer is correct. The effect should be a 2 second stun.

So the style is wrong on uthgard?

I asked the same question on support (en). Will move it to bugreport then.

I am currently leveling paladin and I have little concern with power regeneration.
I was told that with serenity 2 and yellow pom you can hold your endurance chants indefinately without loosing power, that's also what I observed on paladins I played.

However I am level 47 and with serenity 2 and yellow pom my power goes down.

Could it be because I have 0 piety and +power from template?
shouldn't it be all percetange based?
Also can something change in those three levels?

well dunno about those, but it drops but slowly. And usualy there will be inc before your out of power. And if its looking bad you can just chant it, and it regens.

I had a question of my own about paladins. I'm new to the server and I'm pretty sure I want my Pally to be my main. Right now I have a paladin that's level 14. I've been keeping my chant skill equal to my level, and I've been balancing out sword/shield with leftover points. However, my question is: Should I remake my paladin right now since I'm not that high, and spec 1hb instead? that way I can auto train 1hs? It seems like I'm always out of endo during combat because I keep using my chants, so I rarely get to use styles. Am I doing something wrong, or is that just how it is at lower levels? Am I not really expected to be using styles/doing much damage right now and just focus on trying to keep agro? Any tips about speccing paladins (especially at low levels) would be helpful; and any advice about how to play them (if there's a certain chant order or whatever) would be much appreciated.

if you want to go solo, go thrust+shield.
if you want to fight in groups, go crush/shield+chants, this way youll at least keep blocking a little, and have a low endu taunt to keep aggro.
You could also go 2h, but its pretty much useless as pally.

I can't see any reason not to spec crush while leveling, super cheap taunt + stun followup is everything you can wish for pve ^^

yes, with lower level endu chants and twisting you will pretty much be without endu most of the time, however with the crush taunt you should still be able to style even with the little endurance you have left
