Or maybe you've just been far more lucky with your group members. Thanks for the backhanded insult, though!

It does kinda suck Exp grouping in Albion compared to Midgard (dunno about the Hibernia situation tho)
- lots of cabs/necros that just want to solo, less people to find for groups - AT classes making it just that little bit harder - powerlevelling running rampant thanks to cabs/necros

I have done all 3 to the upper lvl's
Solo as necro out of the gate Groups, pugs, with a sorc and a merc PL on a scout
I have the most fun in the pugs. especially on the sorc , and the groups are usually pretty good. but the problem is, even through the 40's its easily more than twice as fast to just get powerlvl'd by a decent necro. (and yes, easy as the class is there are a ton of bad ones). sorry cabs but a necro that knows his spots, and is geared and smart still own in pl idc who says what been in enough groups of each.
you think man, im lvl 44 and would like to group with these peple that just msg me up at gorgers but its going to take me 6 hours to lvl.. if i just go -pl spot- with my necro buddy it will take me 3 hours to lvl.. and i dont have to do anything lol. and i dont have to wat an hour for everyone to finally show up and i dont have to worry about replacing the cleric, theurg, whatever every time someone dings and calls it a night.
just so much easier yes boring but path of least resistance :/
but that being said, after the 7232nd bearded gorger that kinda gets boring too. up til that one, its fun though^^

The issue is very simple.
E - n - d - u - r - a - n - c - e
Albion has endurance on a Paladin. Paladin's are not a high population class due to the perception that they suck at RvR since no Det and Endo chant range.
Midgard has Shaman. Shaman has Endo Conc Buff. Midgard groups up the butt due to the vast amounts of Shamans.
Repeat it with me.

You think it will fix once they hit max level, but no, that's when they start powerleveling their guidies, their friends, their friends' friends, their grandmas and nephew and whatnot. I'm already seeing cabalists with a bunch of low levels in their group powerleveling them. No real groups to be found. No one wants to group normally, they just want to be powerleveled.
Many groups I've been in have gone poorly, people leave because they are going to get powerleveled by their guildy who just got online when we are just getting started with pulls, people leave if we wipe because they are going to get powerleveled anyway.
I've always preferred Midgard, but decided to be Alb this time for a change of pace. My god what a bad decision that was. Mainly because I rolled group friendly classes aka Earth Theurgist and Cold Wizard. Sigh.
As a cab I'd much rather group than aoe pull camps. For the past week I've spammed my alliance and had LFG set while playing, and at low 40's I haven't gotten invited to a single group. End result, I end up aoeing camps for xp. If you don't want to have to deal with cabs and necros hoarding camps, stop building all mdps groups. As long as there's pom in the group cabs can DPS just fine. I've also had some VERY good aoe caster groups, which don't require a pali, but at high levels it seems like very few people try to build them.

100% agree - spot on. Most groups are downright infuriating. This is why I now have a necro.

Have you considered explaining to the noobs what it is that they are doing incorrectly, and why?

Of course. It's usually futile. The last straw was this Cleric I had in a focus pull group with a Matter Cab. After finally getting him to understand he should heal the pet, he kept overhealing and getting aggro. Then he'd sprint away from everything as fast as he could. We told him over and over not to do that, as it only made it harder to get stuff off of him, but he simply wouldn't listen. That group also had a Mind Sorc who'd repeatedly AE mez every mob around the Cabalist pet, defeating the entire point of focus pulling. It was absolutely maddening.

I'm entirely fine with this so long as they're all Hibs and Mids, heh.

Leveling in Albion sucks because the fastest experience 40-50 is LB gorger camps and that about covers it.

I personally HATE Barfog. It almost always turns into 30+ mins of traveling and waiting on others, only to end up being a colossal waste of time. Why does no one do trees anymore? It's amazing how I never see groups doing them... Admittedly, it's been like 15 years since I grinded to 50 in Alb, but when did LB become the new "it" spot? Must be a Euro thing

The most problem in my eyes for pl is .. many many at pallys/minst and so on .. and ... Players ding lvl 50 .. dunno where or what Camelot is .. enter RvR and don´t know how he had to play this char.. And what will happen after many told him that he plays like a noob and so on... Yeah pl the next one with the hope this time it would be better

Other problem there is nothing to solo in Barfog for players in the low fourties while waiting for a spot in group.
