Just by curiosity, the ice pet situation is still current? I mean, does ice pet still capped to lvl 25?

Ice pet are not capped at level 25, but the level 25 spell give you same result than higher summon spell. On this spell, hard cap for level of pet is 50, so not a problem, not reachable.

So concretely what is the difference by having a lvl 25 ice pet and let say, the lvl 32 or 40 ice pet? dmg?

If you use Google translate, please translate into English, not German.

Some have commented on ice pet resist rate. I have been leveling a theurg and I don't see resist rate being an issue.

For blue con mobs cast 1 ice pet, then side step a bit and cast 1 more.
For yellow cast 1 ice pet, side step a bit, then cast 2 more on top of each other.
For orange cast 1 ice pet, side step a bet, cast 2, then side step a bit more and cast 1 more... then sometimes cast 1 more somewhere else but usually 4 is enough.

Just make sure you cast pets outside of melee range and stand away from them in case the mob comes after you after the first pet dies.

XP'ing seems to be really efficient. Even in the 30's I have been able to kill several yellows/orange at once. In low 20's go to brae and mooch 4 realm levels worth of RP's to get serenity 2 and keep a good focus staff and mana regen is not too bad.

In fact, Netchel commented in almost every theurg thread, that going ice as 2nd spec is not so bad, pointed out the fact that the range dmg snare thing can be really useful if well used.
If I had to do a theurg, I would go earth/ice as I find that ae root 49sec is better than ae mezz 23sec which are mostly imune.

This!

Ice pets also suffer from the 2nd range check, which isn't livelike. So you can easily avoid to get hit by the ice pets

best spec is 40 earth 35 air and rest in ice, u get the level 7 icepet which rupts even with resists. who cares if the enemys outrun them, anytime they need to come back and the pets will hit because the druids wont kite back when the tanks are infront and pushing, so make a mix out of earth/ice pets even with low icepets and the airpets are just useless if enemy has stunimmune from slam

Nobody is speaking about the ae-root of ice spec. Why?

What about 40e/30i/20a?
+ Nice earth pet and ice pet, decent air pet (lvl 37).
+ Decent ae root 49 sec.

- DD will suck a bit.
