I dont understand why Blue came out "guns a blazing". I was trying to start open dialogue about an issue that is important to alb players. No one is flaming, and to issue a ban threat because we are unhappy with a situation, well that is horrible public relations.

No one attacked anyone, no one flamed anyone, no one needs to be threatened with ban. It is ok to discuss general albion info in the Albion Info forum right??

Thank you for being more civil with us nixian.

If you could please show us the DF stats, it would be greatly appreciated.

Read your block of text in your first post. Then think about the topic of your thread which is CAPITALIZED to no reason and yelling to GM's. After you realized that you will understand that your thread is more propable to get locked instead of coming into senseful discussion.

Also if you see a global major bugfix as an Albion only threatening thing I can't help you. Btw you was just able to abuse a bug with gems selling at 16 gold each.

And about sentences and punctuation:
Any brand new players (were talking first character, level 1) to the server that chooses to go Albion will have EXTREME difficulty accumulating the money needed to outfit a fortified level 50 (and can you imagine if they want to be a crafter?) Now for all of us elders with 3 and 4 50s, were like "who cares?" Well, those new players will leave shortly probably to find some other game to play.

You shouldnt throw stones in your glass house.

chill dude. hibs dont have it better. we had 1 single decent cash spot which is now worthless and alb holds df a lot more often/longer then we do^^.

your not the only one with money issues now, and it doesnt just concern "brand new players" which im for sure not.

i dropped from soloing 1p+ per hour with no downtime to 300g solo per hour MAX and not much more in a small group and even less with a big group.

the stack elven essence used to be worth 25g, its 5g now.
a 16g gem would have been nice to have, imo the best was 5g and that didint drop often. but you could mass it up and make some money that way. 100g-200g cash drops, 300g-500g per fully stacked inventory, clearing 3 large spots 5+ times.
now i get less then then 300g for 4 full inventories including cash drops.
not worth the time anymore^^

the live alternative would be fin hammers which salvaged for 156g and you as a non crafter would sell them for 100g.

here there are worth (last know price) around 50g material, so that is out too.

the last worm wrap ive seen drop in person was end of last spring and ive done 40 raids since then.

and yes, prices skyrocket, because you have a couple hundret players which need that item for their sc temp and there are barely half a dozend in circulation if at all.

its like with rare paintings or limited edition supercars, they keep getting more expensive with every sale from owner to owner.

demand-supply thing.

figure out a different way to make money.

farm rare drops, farm epics, farm frontier mobs, get rare drops and sell those, get df and raid beli/prince/hl or farm dias, get an alchy and sell barrels, look for a high droprate of asterite / dia weapons and salvage, sell yourself for money^^

im stressed too since most used-to-be dia bar drops are often of a lower material level then they should be, but hey, cant have everything.

on the plus side all the ex solo farmers now are more willing to do small farm groups so you can go for higher value drops or to open df.
we will see how it plays out in the long run.

EDIT:

above is how you can make a wall of text readable, and nothing more was wished from you.
you just hit enter two times at the end of every third short or first/second longer sentence, its not rocket science.

Okay, fine with it.
I was also wondering why mids have bonedancer and hibs have animist here, but no necro for albs. Also, way to farm money from dia seals is good way ofc, but df is not place where you can do it safe. But safe is not a problem. There isn't so much dia seals, player in hulk group gets around 30-40 seals per hour, which is 400-500 gold to sell them directly, or 600-700 from salvage. Which is not bad. But thing is that to be able to get seals you need to be at least 42 (i'm not talking about saphs and emmys), then you need high skill in armor/weapon craft. Which takes alot of money and TIME. Also the fact is that only 16 players max can farm hulks at the same time.
I don't understand why the previuous prices were wrong (Uth is not live after all), and what did it do wrong to the economic issues.

P.S. If i find that my caba, that i'm raising now will be useless, and i'll not be able to get enough money to finish my craft skills and get MP suit for my infi in a reasonable time, i better quti to Aion Infinity server.

caba will be albs best farmer for a long time to come, i highly doubt that the gms will implement the necro because that would, imo, cause the prices of things to skyrocket because EVERYONE will be able to farm easily for items and gold, and that will cause prices to raise (for crafting to be done by others etc)

also farming gems is not the only way to make money, many farm with a caba in lyonesse at the goblins, there you can make ~1p an hour in money drops

on another note i think the gms have looked at all the options and are deciding whats best for the server, not just for each realm (but i still cant get past uthGARD coughcough oO I LOVE YOU UTHGARD STAFF HOWEVER BIASED YOU MAY BE!!!! <3 )

I was a little heated earlier when i wrote this, and im sorry if i insulted or called out any of the staff. I do still feel like my point is valid, and i am a firm believer in "If it aint broke, don't fix it."

Im sure a lot of us here have played multiple RPGs and a games economy can kill a game faster than anything. Lineage 2 had to add an entirely new unit of money because botted players flooded the market with curency (imagine only having a million, then having to create a billion slot)

Warhammer ruined itself because you earned money with loot and cash drops.... but you never had to buy anything after level 10 when you got your horse. Decisions about a games economy should be taken VERY seriously.

The prices of certain items aren't going to drop just because the games economy was cube rooted (as in math) Wormskins will still be 14 plat, MP Pieces will still go for 2-5 plat, but now it will just be traded amongst the wealthy, for all intents and purposes, you have eliminated the middle class.

The other posters are just as correct in there beliefs and we all will have to find new ways of accumulating wealth. My only concern is that while Hibs and Albs have a rock wall to climb, Mids only have a speed bump.

I play about 35 hours a week, and i mean, we just don't ever have DF. I'm not fabricating this. You think leveling from 20-30 in Cornwall is fun, then going to RvR in Cornwall drops?

A large majority of the time, Midgaurd has DF. This isnt an attack, but come on, we all know it, we all crack jokes about it in-game (wtb DF!) Only time will tell.

Maybe in 2 months im totally wrong and everything continues on with no hiccups, but i wanted to voice my concern, take a pro-active approach to something i feel strongly about.

Didn't mean to rub anybody the wrong way, i'll see you guys in game.

This is the only sentence I have read from your post and I did not continue reading after that. I'm fed up with these statements.
How comes players always think the realm they're playing in is the worst and the whole staff hates it? You have to seperate bugfixes from nerfs, really...
