If you are a German/Euro there is also Fire and Ice Melodies alliance that should be noted, I am unsure of their size.

All the information about Primordial guild and alliance is posted publicly down the forum a bit. Link - Primordial Alliance.

While we started out primarily as NA PvP (8v8, Pugs, Smallman) we've ballooned as we've taken on Korean, Italian, German, and Russian guilds from around the clock. We now have more people actively leveling in the alliance whereas initially it was mostly just templated level 50's who logged in for RvR action.

I'll let things speak for themselves - but Flyguy is right, there is still quite a bit of fun to be had you just need to get in with the right group of people.

If you are reading this and you are still in a starter guild, or your guild doesn't have an alliance - consider it. It isn't the end all be all fix to the issues that exist, but having good people to talk and play with regularly makes the experience worthwhile.

I'm very approachable here and on Discord - as well as in game if I'm not terribly busy. I've had a few people new to Albion message me and I've given them much of the same overview that Flyguy did here - we've got a few big alliances, there is some overlap, but we all play together and have our niche. Just choose the mood/setting that you feel fits best for you.

Well, even after reading all the post, I was wanting to come back and play uthgard, since i really dont want to pay for live DAoC anymore ha.

Any suggestions to start fresh on alb? Seems like everyone goes necro, I was hoping to do a melee eventually for solo/pve/rvr. I dont know if i should level necro first to farm, or just bite the bullet and do my melee toon and hope for help/groups later on

I did level a necro but its too easy, you make 500gold per hour at level 40...
But to make a melee class its almost required since you need gold to buy new gear every 3 levels
Reminder to Self: Quality over Quantity, what is the Value here?

I would make a necro and your "main". Level the "main" when there are groups available depending on your play time. If you can't get things going, level your necro. Look to join an existing guild in 1 of the alliances to get a supportive system

How's the grouping scene on Alb now? Are there actually groups to level with throughout the low levels, or is it pretty much solo until you can make friends with (or pay) a necro to level you?

I always see people asking for groups, in all level ranges. During EU times there are groups in Mithra, Salisbury, Cornwall, Lyonesse running most of the time. During NA it's more hit-or-miss but this illustrates the importance of joining a large guild and making some friends... you guys can do what my guild is doing and leveling up people in similar ranges. Bottom line: it's very feasible and I recommend anybody reading this look past the BS on the forums and just enjoy the game

For all those players that are returning and leveling through the ranks, please send me a PM and I will arrange a meeting to donate 50g to get you started. This should be more than enough to keep your armor up to date until you have an opportunity to meet friends / join guilds .

Also, Knights Hemplar are looking to expand our ranks and would take all willing applicants! Please contact an officer for further details.

(1) Large Guilds -- this is by no means an attempt to recruit on their behalf, however, several large guilds exist and regularly have 15-20+ players online. They include Defiance, We Play for Keeps, Knights of the Round Table, Knights Who Say Ni, and Riot Control. There are several others as well but this would be a good place to start if you're looking for a large guild to play with.[...]

The Knights Who Say Ni-alliance consists atm of following guilds:

- Knights Who Say Ni
- Fire Ice and Melodies
- Die Templer
- Bewahrer des alten Kodex
- Northwind
- Blutfalken
- R I P
- Nachtfalken
- Red Dragons
- Whine Wipe und Gesang
- Reverence
- Die Raecher mit dem Becher
- Freier Bund

It's a german-speaking alliance and with 1727 Chars (18.06.2017) it may be the biggest german-speaking alliance - if not the biggest alliance at all - on the server.

Should merge some smaller guilds to build 1-2 bigger alliances. Aka you got a guild you reach 50% or more of the realm.
