1) a blanket statement saying all droprates are livelike has never, ever been made. As explained previously, we have a base droprate for normal and boss mobs. When we have sufficient data (logs) that demonstrates a higher-than-base droprate it can be modified to match.

2) What is wrong about our salvaging system? => Bug report forum

We don't have a single source for evidence. I'll gladly take chat logs from players that we parse -- this is what is happening for SI loot (go go SI testers!)

I know on Mid there are mobs in Malm called Svartalf Infiltrators that drop vests. you could easily get 10 per hour and they salvage for 72 gold if i remember correctly.
I was just wondering if there are some mobs with a decent drop rate on Alb that you know of.

Thanks a lot for trying to help me out

IMO the only decent thing to farm is Diamond seals. When I dinged 50 on my matter cabby about a year ago I tried frontiers, dartmoor, lyonesse.........all crap. You CAN make money that way but unless you are Commander Data or some kind of autistic i dunno how you could sustain doing it to make a reasonable amount of money.

Solo farming salvage is horrible.
There will be a group of people out there who will want this realm to be entirely Mythic-like. Exactly like vanilla, drop rates/xp rates, basically everything and you will not be able to please them unless it is exactly like vanilla.

These people have their nostalgia goggles on so tight it's cutting off the bloodflow to their brain and they believe that vanilla was perfect and nothing was wrong with it.

I make good money when I take my Reaver into Stonehenge barrows. You're collecting the sell loot that stacks, salvage, and rare alchemy components. You craft the alchemy components into the high level potions and end up with 10g+ profit per material, they drop in stacks of 5 I think. If I am lucky with drops I can make close to 2p in an hour of nonstop farming. The biggest limitation being how much loot you can carry, but if you're only wanting to farm for 30-40 minutes or something, its a decent way to make up to about a plat in a half hour.

If you're unlucky with drops you might make only 1p or so per hour.

We reached the sadly moment, when Smokeys posts became shorter than his signature. /sigh
