As many of you may have read or heard, alchemists are now albe to craft bottles. That means: 10 potions in one bottle - one slot in the inventory.

Many of you won't need the following guide, but some may.

So, whats the thing with bottles?

To craft a bottle, you have to do a small quest.

1.) You have to be alchemist. Wow - what a surprise.
2.) You have to go to the "Old Alchemist" who is standing in the camelot castle right in front of the mage tower where the alchemist/spellcrafter trainer are placed. --> Talk to him (only needed the first time).
3.) You have to buy "trapped lightning" items from the "Old Alchemist". One for each bottle.
4.) Now you have to go outside...use the front gate or the teleporter. In cotswold you have to go to the dock (where the boats depart to DF and Salisbury). There you will find "sand".
5.) Go to the sand and use the trapped lightning on it. A lightning storm will appear and you will get a "raw glass" into your inventory.
6.) With the new item you have to go into camelot again. Go to the house where the alchemist/spellcrafting merchants are placed. In the next room you will find the "Glass Blower".
7.) Talk to the glass blower. Use all options and he will convert the raw glass into a "bottle".
8.) Now - since you have an empty bottle - you will need something to fill into the bottle. So you have to craft eleven potions of the same sort. Not ten, but eleven! --> Go to the "Old Alchemist".
9.) Use the empty bottle on the alchemist. He will now fill your eleven potions into the bottle. Stupid as he is, he will always loose one potion, so you will only have a ten potion bottle.
10.) Use the bottle like and other potion.

So, thats the normal way...what can be improved?

- You can get more than one "raw glass" at a time. Buy some more "trapped lightning" and use them one after another on the sand outside camelot.
- Talking to the "Glass Blower" always converts all "raw glass" in your inventory into empty bottles.
- You can buy ingredients for more than eleven potions at the merchants and then craft the potions at the alchemy table near the "Old Alchemist". This will greatly reduce the distance you have to cover.

What are the advantages of a bottle?

- You only need one slot in the inventory for ten potions. Thats an advantage at least if you are plannung to farm something. Also you do not have to draw one potion after another into your quickbar. You only use the bottle.

- The bottle is a magic item. It can be recharged at any Recharger (in Emain and the BG's). So you will never need an alchemist for your potions any more (seems to be a bug and will be fixed soon).

What are the disadvantages of a bottle?

- Well, crafting a bottle is an annoying thing to do. You have to cover quite some distances, even if you craft more than one bottle at a time it really s***. But, well...thats the thing with crafting.

- Crafting a bottle is a bit more expensive than crafting potions. You will need eleven potions but only get ten out of the crafting process. So you will loose some gold...

- Recharging potions is a lot more expensive than crafting them. For example: A "Strong Potion of Power" costs 2,5g material price. Recharging costs 10g - so you have to pay a price four times as high as for a potion (recharging bottles seems to be a bug and will be fixed soon).

Please note: Potions that need a drop ingredient to work (Instant potions etc.) can NOT be put into a bottle. The "Old Alchemist" won't craft them.

Also note: Barrels can NOT be crafted by now. They will be implemented later i suppose.

Any comments? Please post them.

Sorry, this shouldn't be possible and will be fixed with the next reboot.
Be nice. :)
