I am a new player to the server. I've played DAoC for years and always enjoyed the classic setting so I'm glad I've found this server. So far I've just been leveling a necro so I can get a house and make a SC to get started with.

Ah ok. I didn't even think about that because I've been playing all types of hours since I started here. I'm in NA and you can expect to see me anytime from 3-5pm EST until around 2-3 AM EST except on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Playstyle. Well I like to PvP but here is the thing. I don't like stepping out there without a template and I refuse to ask for anything. So that means right now I've got crafters to make and lvl 50s to get. Still deciding on a main.

In retail servers my main was an Infil. Yeah it was a lot of fun and I won't forget it but I will not make that mistake again. It took years to get lvl 51 because I was always solo. I still know Darkness Falls like my own backyard. The day before yesterday we had DF for a few hours so I went in on my 25ish necro to get 20 seals for a staff. Hibs took it back while I was in there and I knew someone would be by shortly to say "Hi!". Got into a corner there in the first avernal quasit room and watched as they ran right into the room, looked around for a second, and ran out. More than once. More like several times. I realize the shade is tough to see by itself but my point is this. I can look in a room and see that mobs are missing, I mean the whole room was pretty much empty and a mentalist even ran over a stray coin bag. Sure if they had actually come in the room and given it a hard look it would be bad news but they didn't. So I got the staff and 5 other pieces of gear and left on my own terms by going out the exit. Feels good man.

Stories like this are what I remember about DAoC. It's a good sign that already I have a couple good stories to tell and am not even 50. You will be seeing me around.

Update: Just hit 40 with Nec and got setup with house so I can transfer and stuff. Thinking about a Sorc or Thurg main this time around. I'd like the group experience since I never really got that the first go round and I'm familiar with those classes. I'm sure that I'm a better thurg than sorc since I spent a lot more time on it and let's be honest it has less moving parts so to speak. I always thought there were way too few thurgs at least on my server. Hey at least no pbt bots here to fight against for a spot! So anyway either Thurg or sorc idk I still have 10 lvls to get on necro speaking of which I could have gotten 41 by now so I'd best be off to lyonesse.

Not leader in any guild, but in Eagle Guard who seem to me to be very nice people.

Mainly that I've never felt forced to do anything if I didn't want to.
They mainly lvl alts, and RvR's. Even seen us field 1 fg and a 7 man at the same time in RvR, granted not all lvl 50, but still something.

If you are german speaking you can check our guild and alliance. Knight who say ni alliance is the biggest german alliance on the server and several guilds accept new players. Our guild and alliance chat is german, so it makes not much sense if you dont speak german.
