Because of how I play I'm not sure how much grouping I'll get to do so I was just wondering what class had the most potential to solo PvE. Not necessarily farming for gold but just capable of doing the most content solo.

Cheers!

This time I level the first time a necro in my life. Played it before but only level 50 necro as we had one to level our twinks on pvp server.

Its really easy to level. If you find a good spot you can chain pull without any downtime. I was really surprised that this works already so well as a low level necro.

Hope GMs are fine with what they have stated, that they are fine with just 80 people (300ppl was Trishin Statement long time ago) playing the game under their vision.
Its important to leave this server running doesn't matter how low the numbers will be. The other servers can fail but Uthgard still will be there, thats Uthgards only chance.

Edit 19/09/21: Well Uthgards chance has come.

The necro is really good for chain killing single yellow/oj mobs.

Caba matter or matter/spirit can deal with multiple yellow/oj mobs at the same time and can do higher lvl mobs better than the necro, but will have more downtime.

Friar can kill the highest lvl mobs of the 3 classes, but does worst when facing two or more enemies. Friar depends on good gear and ideally some RA investment into dodger.

Thanks for the responses.

I'm coming from EQ classic and I know this is very different but I guess I'm looking for the DAoC equivalent of the EQ Necro/Enchanter/Shaman. A class that can dungeon crawl and attempt high level mobs and what not solo. In my ignorance I assumed that would be the Sorcerer for the charming and CC like an EQ Enchanter but hey ho.

I'd take a look at the Cabalist and Necro.

Both are good choices. going for high level mobs alone will be difficult. Both classes do very well with a cleric buddy to farm a lot of high level mobs. Hope we will get SI down the line then there are more high level mobs to farm.
