Okay I've decided my three characters for the new 1.69 changes
Armsman - 50 pole 42 shield 34 crush ?? Parry Sorceror - 46 Mind, 27 body Infiltrator - ??? Any advice / input is appreciated. Especially since I have no idea how to spec an infiltrator. |

For Inf Autotrain stealth to 48. There is absolutely no reason not too.
50 CS is in my experience the best spec by far. I used to be 50 thrust but you crush with 50 CS. Go for combined 50-51 thrust, 50 envenom, 50 stealth. Rest in DW. As you go up in realm rank respec and put more points into DW. IMO best Inf spec.

You will actually have 28 body with 46 mind as a sorc. For armsman, I guess it depends on realm rank. If you are RR6 or 7, then 34 in weapon would be fine imo. But if you're lower RR, make weapon 36, so you can get 50 composite.
For 1.69 and Old RAs, on an armsman, I would go as high of shield as you can. So at RR6 34 weapon - 46 shield - (48 shield if you autotrained slash/thrust and take one of those as weapon line) 50 pole - rest parry. That is because mastery of blocking has lower values in old ra, so I guess you'd want as much shield as you can get for guarding. You will also lose dashing defense, so parry isn't as important. For infiltrator, 50 CS seems like the best spec as svper mentioned. You not only get the highest anytime growth rate chain that inf's can spec, but from stealth openers seem bugged as hell, so they're extremely powerful here, and 50 CS will benefit them the most. |
