Hello Everyone,
I have finally sorted out some bugs on my end here and am ready to start playing again. I was looking at playing on the Albion server. It's been so long since I played DAOC I need some help choosing a class to play. I want to be able to solo, both pve and pvp. I would like to level efficiently with my pve class. I play at strange hours. Any suggestions? I was thinking either Reaver or Infiltrator. Thanks. |

Mord,
I'm no expert here by any means but I toss out my opinions anyway. ![]() |

By all means make an inf - but only after you get established on the server. Make a pve group friendly or solo farm friendly char first. Then you can finance your not so group friendly chars

Effective solo PvP means a stealth class. A least in my opinion, but I think many people here would agree with me.
There is no stealther that you can level up that well by solo grinding. Minstrel with heal pet might be a good choice though. But there seems to be a real minstrel flood in albion nowadays. But you will get grps as well. Minstrel is considered to be one of the classes that highly benefit from old RAs. Which will take a little while, but still ![]() If you choose a visible class and still want to do solo PvP.. Well.. Maybe a sorcerer? Or a friar, if you are just planning on doing pure solo.. Because they don't get too many grps in RvR.. |

Interesting to see this as I am returning myself after many years and play stealthers (scout and inf). They used to be great classes. Are they still? Solo mainly also due to weird hours.
