I am talking about the pygmies at the house in the center of Lyonesse, that people usually leveled on around 35-40.

Are they implemented here, and do they have the same stats and BAF code as they did in classic?

There are a few differences from live.

They don't call for help.

No scouts.

Tangler doesn't smite you.

Tangler doesn't trigger camp to respawn when it dies.

Basically compared to live the xp is crap. On live the xp was mainly from group bonus, so for each goblin you get more xp from the group bonus than from the kill. I guess this is because of call for help. Also waiting for camps to repop slows things down.

So on live house gobs were viable for a solo cabalist if trees/island was taken, and all were good for xp groups. Here its basically island and tree camps are viable for a solo cabalist (or duo w/ cleric) and house camp is junk.

I remember doing those back in 2001/2002, I was a mind sorc and it was the first time in the game I was actually wanted

Why did they change them, they were awesome and easily the most fun (and brown trouser moments) mobs in the entire game.

I don't think they were changed, but rather they are not fully implemented on Uthgard yet.

There are no mob factions or call for help at all yet. I don't think any mobs scout like they do on live. And the tangler not smiting, well that is prob just accidentally left off.

The thing is that pve stuff would make leveling a bit more fun, but its low priority. With RA changes, some combat mechanics, and finishing classes I bet it will be a while before other pve stuff gets fixed. And even then there is a list of drops that salvage incorrectly, other item issues and quests which would probably be higher priority.

Well tangles was added a bit later, dotn think about 1.85 or less but scouts and call for help was forever, but on Uthgard mobs have no sociability like live .
