Firstly, a quick disclaimer : Other realms may do it. I dont care because I dont play there. You are also free to play like you like. </disclaimer>

What is up with albs in Brae humping the keep? There was like 9-12 albs in braemer yesterday with only like 2-3 hibs and about 4 mids. What are you all scared of that you need to hump the keep walls?

My inf went back later and SOME (not all) mids were doing the same thing. Let me tell you what happened to all but 1. They died. Many times. One runemaster was kind enough to give me about 1500+ rps that night by himself. A troll (warrior?) and a norse bezerker also gave about 800 between the two of them.

My point is humping the keep does nothing productive for keep owners. You stand around, get minimal rps, and take the risk of an assassin like me coming in and 1 shotting your caster or killing your (insert non-main tank class here) before he dies. If they arent attacking the keep, there is very little reason to be there unless you are outnumbered, in which case they should be attacking.

I hope more albs come away from the keeps more often. I suppose the comics about albs running to the nearest keep at the first sight of an enemy are true here too. :-/

Mostly depends on the grps Social leader or so. If some1 pushes people out to roam or face the enemy the odds of em camping are smaller.
But true, people tend to hug the keep alot in bgs, specialy brae.
Somewhat logic tho, with the latest player boom on uth most prolly are actual new players - noobs if one might use the word, and scared. A keep provides, in there eyes, a safe heaven.

There is no solution to this issue, never has, never will be.

yeah we all were newbs.
The fact you know how to act / move / think, does not mean you can give them a "table of rules" by telling them what to do and how to do, so they ll grove up quick and suddenly become pros.
Basically you cant put ideas, concepts, or knowledge in people minds, they just need time to learn themselves, and after all, learning its the most fun part in daoc, isnt it? ;)
