It`s no shield size make you block more ppl at same time?

Something about small 1 person block at same time, medium 2 and growing?

this is is only counting for blocking for yourself..

for guarding the shieldsize doesnt play any role
means: a small shield is guarding as good as a large one.

BlackCougar wrote:well then it might be different here.

its true that you can guard just as good with a small as with a large shield, BUT;
at least on live that was only true for as long as you have "free block slots" to guard with. so if you used a small shield and 1-2 attack you, you basicly stopped guarding.

good to see in avalon city with a scout guarding a pala.
as long as the scout didnt taunt anything it guarded a large amount of hits which enabled us to pull up to 60 mobs.

IF he tauntet 1 or 2 however the guarding messages where few and far between.

Cap your quickness:

1.) cuz when you fumble, miss, have to fight against pulsing pbt or target thats beeing guarded you will hit for less dmg and less hits than a drunken cleric with a staff.

2.) you lower your single hit dmg, but you increase your DPS (damage per second), and dps wins 8vs8 fights and small man fights.

3.) you brace your slam ability, either slaming on main assist or being peeler...

Not to cap your quickness:

1.) if you are a skald that can afford insta mezz, and can wait for 4-5-6 sec till your next hit lands.

2.) if you are NS, SB, Inf going 50 CS and not caping qui just for PA which only worked 7 years ago in DaoC when you stayed stealthed after perfecting players...

Peace out

Hope it helped

Imo Best way to check this is to duel ppl

helped me on each of my chars... even support chars =)

Have a good hunting out there \m/

block chance should be your shield weaponskill versus opponents weaponskill. The stat modifier for shield weaponskill is 100% dex.

btw, that's why warrior guard better than anyone, cause warrior get boost to weaponskill.
