Uthgard

Due to serious differences between older versions and v1.89 now we enforce version 1.89. You must have version 1.89 (official European version) to play on Uthgard.

To update to version 1.89 open your update.dat with the Windows tool "Notepad" and check if the content matches with the following lines:

Mythic Patch
patch.camelot-europe.com:1280/updates/english/labyrinth/mpatch.dat
patch.camelot-europe.com:1280/updates/english/labyrinth/mpatch.dat

(In case that you want another add-on than Labyrinth of the Minotaur change "labyrinth" into atlantis, catacombs or darkness.)

Then execute the camelot.exe in your DAoC folder to start the update.

That really sucks. I absolutely hate the new ui/chat system. And cant stand the new icons either

can get the the game to load up after down loading the new update,
any ideas on why the game will not load up?

howmuch time to u give peeps to update and get it runnin and stuff ? before the update is like a musthave to get connected

The change is effective from the time of the first post. The process of updating your installation shouldn't take longer than a couple of minutes (+ download time).

ty for the reply.....but after i install the upgrade ....the game will no load up at all?
it freezes in the load screen, i have to restart puter.

Try deleting everything in your Custom folder in UI or whatever. Or just cut & paste the folder somewhere else.

or basicly u can allways delete everything and install again and update etc.
Yes it takes forever but its better then not playing @ all for mby a longer time

I did both ......and then i tryed the US one also and down loaded the US darkness one also and it will still not get past the load up screen ......

any other ideas?

and for my info........the EU update comes up as Darkness Rising.....is that right?

It's no wonder when the US version doesn't pass the loading screen because this version isn't accepted by the server. You need to download the European client until there's a common base in (RvR) worldbuild again.

If you run the update from the European patch server you will either get DR (with atlantis, catacombs, and darkness in your update.dat) or LotM (in case it says labyrinth).
