An Ancient Foe invades the Frontiers!
It is upon you to search for the invaders and slay them to claim your reward.

There are a maximum of 3 Invaders spawned out of a potential 16 locations in each of Frontiers.
Killing an Invader will reward 1000 RP for each rewardable player.

Rewardable player:
The one solo player or all group members above level 40 which has the most participation when killing an Invader.

The first Invaders will scout the Frontiers as of now until September 30th 2021.

Agree, the lwrps board already show how poorly designed this was.
I'm totally for incentives to rvr, but this event is just a platform for people to get rp pl.

Thanks for adding in more liveliness to the server.

daoc was never a balanced game, never will be, because all realms are different.

So what does it matter, that you can take a few people with you? I have not yet seen the event mob, but honestly I dont care who you bring to get it. The frontier is all about risk and reward. Its implemented just like that.

Total war, high risk, high reward, that is what daoc is about.

Balanced classes, no. Balanced realms, no. Balanced events, properly another no.
Uthgard 2.0 auto-bestiary Zones, maps, monsters, locations, items, drop rates and statistics.
DAoC game mechanics information templates, realm ranks, spell dmg type, melee speed, blocking, exp/group calculation

I find the reward for killing the npc high, expecially there is no limit or timer for killing him (As example, first fetch a quest for killing the invader). But still a great idea and thank you Genjiro for your time and effort.

Think helps a lot of ppl become first basic RAs without must taking unclaimed keeps or so.

It would have been a better solution to collect a few ideas and then tinker something out of them.
I don't want to get Rp for PvE.

My ideas would be:

A maximum of 3-5 quests per day.
Raide 5 keeps-- Reward 1000 rp in addition to a maximum of rr 5
Kill 25 players (Albion, Hibernia; Midgard differentiated would still be an option)
Destroy 5 siege machines of enemy players.
Kill 50 Keepguards.
As far as I am concerned, repping the relict gates also reward 25 rp per rep, for example.

I could well imagine something like that.
Or solo and group exercises.
This is not meant to be a criticism, but rather suggestions for the future.

I think these are great ideas for a server with population. You are however playing Uthgard. EU prime time is actually a workable pop, but NA/Late night there are 0 people on. This type of thing gives an opportunity for people to find a reward every so often. there are literally only 5 up at any time across a whole massive frontier zone.

It is a great change, and extremely well targeted for the server and its extremely low pop. well done Genjiro.

if the mobs are hugged intensively, 100 k -160 k rp are possible in 24 hours.
Unfortunately not thought up based on the numbers of the Lwrp, very easy to verify.

Do not induce players to do any Rvr activities at the moment. Mob farming is much easy and gives more rp.

As it always has been. There are those who like it, and others who don't.
The same goes for extremists putting a ton of hours into a video game.

As for now keep hunting. I did tweak numbers a bit and will keep an eye on kills.
I also want to use this small event to gather more data.
